FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First getting to know you, the person. What are your dreams? What are your aspirations? Why are you seeking a coach? What would you like to accomplish? It is important that we connect on a professional and emotional level. I will be engaged in your life, in a very supportive role. Secondly, I commend your investment in yourself. Your physical body and being are the only one you get in this lifetime. Recognizing your own importance in existence is very admirable. That commitment will drive your success. Lastly, we prioritize your needs by assessing them with tools that I have developed. Once agreed, we maintain focus on attainable goals and strategic approaches to fulfillment. It is really all about you on the playing field, but I am here on the sidelines, calling out plays and encouraging your best performance.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a graduate of the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, trained in Strategic Intervention with Robbins Madanes, over 25 years of working with the public in communication roles and an entrepreneur. I have worked in corporate environments and as an independent, leading teams and developing others. The school of life, for me, taught the greatest lessons. Now it is my opportunity to share experience with others, which is of the highest value. You can trust someone who has walked the walk and talked the talk.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I began mentoring and inspiring when I worked in the fashion industry. I was responsible for styling, image and presentation and that made me a "go to" person for helping others enhance their assets. I moved into home furnishings and design, and became an expert on "the personality of a space". I found that these two images, how we look and how we live, help to define a lot about a person's outlook. I became an advocate for my own health in my late 30's. This led me to alternative health, fitness, wellness, and coaching. My passion to help others has only continued to grow.
