- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Does the provider have fully identified, positive reviews with clients' full names, company names and other verifiable information? Will the company assess your hard drive or storage device free of charge - and charge a fee only if they successfully recover data? Can you reach customer service by phone during business hours? Have they recovered data from the type of device you have? (i.e. camera memory drive, RAID drive) Have they recovered data from a device like yours with the symptoms yours has? (i.e. MacBook with flashing question mark, or clicking external hard drive) If they can recover your data, what is the the estimated cost? Is the potential range within a few hundred dollars, or a few thousand dollars? (i.e. Estimate $150 - $600 or is it Estimate: $500 - $2500?!!)
