I made an appt for my mother and I a month in advance, we were going to get our very first massage and pedis for my mother's fiftieth birthday and my thirtieth. We live far away so we had to take off work and get a hotel room. After a confirmation call the day before, I recieved an email the morning of our appt saying it was canceled, I called and they figured out they had a problem with the system, but our appts were still confirmed. We drove all the way there and the second therapist was a no show. The owner, I assume, was obviously distraught about the situation, however she only offered to do us individually while the other waited, or she could refer us to another spa. No discount, no nothing!! Not only did we waste our money and time coming down here, but now my mother's fiftieth gets an aweful story. Thank you Avanti for showing how much the customer means to your business, I do feel for your situation and understand the plight of having unreliable employees, however next time offer the client some compensation, some business is better than losing two paying customers.
