Introduction: I’ve been playing guitar for 22 years and writing and recording professionally for 17 years. Published songwriter and currently signed artist. I mainly play rhythm guitar, but I played lead guitar in a band for 3-4 years. You won't learn to shred from me, but you can learn: *rhythm with "good feel" *chord chains (how chords fit together) *nashville number system *major & pentatonic scales *how to sing and play songs at the same time *songwriting tips and guidance *basic finger picking You will also learn how to play with others! I've learned over the years that if my students aren't having fun, they won't be students for long and my goal is to keep your learning momentum up so you can get to the really fun aspects of guitar. I will customize your lesson plan to keep you engaged. I am observant and articulate. I am sensitive to the needs of others and understand everyone has a different style of learning.
