MARK GOES ABOVE AND BEYOND!! This review is long overdue but I just finished watching the edited and raw footage that Mark has sent us and just...WOW!! I knew he did so much on the day of BY HIMSELF, but the footage was so great. He got so much detail! I hired Mark as a wedding present for my sister and I KNOW she won't be disappointed! He got so much that we didn't even think of mentioning to him to include. This man knows exactly what he is doing! Mark was great from the beginning! From being able to film my sister's wedding at 2 weeks notice after a last minute cancellation, to his excellent communication and suggestions for my sister's wedding, to his patience on the day of the wedding and being able to adjust to every last minute change. You can tell that this cinematographer has experience doing this and he knows exactly what to expect and what questions to ask when you are lost. EVERYONE was so pleased to have him at the wedding!! The guests thought it was so cool to have a DRONE at the wedding!! I only paid Mark for four hours but the wedding ceremony was a little behind schedule and he STILL suggested going to the reception to get the introduction of the Bride and Groom. This man was so amazing. He asked all the right questions and even asked if we wanted to get footage of the bride and groom reading each other letters in their hotel room before the ceremony, and that sparked the idea of having them add that to their wedding day itinerary. THEY LOVED THE IDEA and it CAME OUT SO BEAUTIFUL! Mark seems like the kind of man that has seen it all and done it all when it comes to weddings. He blended in so well with every setting. He knew exactly what to say in each situation and other times, you didn't know he was there because he was working and blending in so well! The footage Mark sent us transported us back to the day of the wedding. My family loved it so much and are still talking about Mark and his great work. THANK YOU SO MUCH, MARK! Each time I talk about my sister's wedding, I mention you and the detail you put into everything! You were even great at following up with me after the wedding and printing the DVD's and DVD cases with photos from the wedding, SO GREAT! My sister loves every bit of it! She was so happy with all the little details you captured! Thank you! Thank you!
Edward Salerno Jr is an awesome cinematographer!
Jordan Tritton can easily be considered one of the most professional cinematographers and photographers I have worked with. He has a great attitude, easy to work with, skilled, and brings ideas to the Table.
Michael was an excellent cinematographer. He was organized, on time and delivered some incredible shots for us. Above all he was a nice guy and a great asset to our shoot. We highly recommend him.
I will update this review after I get the finished product from Grant, but I didn't want to wait to give him a positive review. Grant was able to work my wedding on very short notice after another videographer backed out. He was communicative, friendly, and accommodating before the event as we were negotiating our contract, and he was super easy to work with the day of. Grant worked well with our photographers and was able to get the footage he needed without getting in the way of pictures. He was extremely professional, laid back, and fun to be around, all at the same time. A rare combination. Again, I can't comment on the quality of his work just yet, but I can say that Grant was a pleasure to work with.
I highly recommend Garry for his knowledge and creativity. He is always a pleasure to work with and will add ideas on the best ways to present any story. We worked together in both San Francisco and Los Angeles covering major news stories and feature story assignments. He is always well prepared and very knowledgable technically as a camera operator. At KTLA Ch.5 TV, Los Angeles, we won an emmy for our coverage of the 1st Interstate Bank fire. Garry did a great job of live coverage at the building which was burning while glass was falling out above us. He was able to get amazing pictures of the fire and we were able to speak with survivors who escaped the inferno. Working at CNN, San Francisco, we spent hours in a helicopter during a storm chasing a hot air balloon which crossed the Pacific attempting to set a round the world record but crashed on a northern California mountain. We had to jump out from the skid because the coptor could not land and spent a miserable rain filled wet day on the mountain where balloon pilot Rocky Aioki, the founder of Benni Hana restaurants, was rescued. Both of these stories were outstanding and Garry's work was far and away above average. Garry understands the intricacies of video and telling a story. Garry also looks after your costs and completes projects within your budget. Speak with him face to face, you'll like him. Thank you, Steve Lentz, Lifevideos.com
Charles Perry is most definitely on his way to making a name for himself in video production. Aside from being timely, professional and easy to work with, he is exceptional in bringing out the key emotions in his art that make each film relatable, realistic and consistent. Charles is very knowledgable when it comes to the perfect equipment for a project or an idea, he not only brings cinematic quality to the table, but he can tastefully organize a piece with talent and ease. Charles is the tops, and I would recommend working with him to any friend or professional in need of a videographer!
It was great working with you, you are someone who really understands the camera and the vision. Great photographer, cinematographer.
Dawson has a lot of experience. He knows exactly how to complete most any project. Working with him is an absolute pleasure. I never regret having him a part of a project, whether his role be an editor or cinematographer!
Not only is Bret Calo a talented editor, but he's also a great camera operator and cinematographer. When I worked with Bret on my documentary, " Hammering the Skins," he moved seemlesssly from one shot to another, capturing every necessary cinematic moment, which made my female drummer come alive on the screen. Bret is so well versed and knowledgeable about all aspects of film, on and off camera. As an editor, he was able to listen to my vision as a director and helped me tell an intriguing and real story of female drummers and the stigma attached to a woman beating on an object with a stick, using live recording of the artist speaking , live action shots, and still photos used to grab the audiences' attention during the entire documentary. He left you wanting to know more about the experience of female drummers and their struggles to prove themselves as great musicians around the world today.
Excellent photographer! He truly knows what he's doing. I was especially amazed at his skill with lighting, and he was a pleasure to work with! I also had him do some video for me once and I love the footage he gave me. Definitely recommend him to anyone wanting amazing photos or video!
As a fellow director, I look for professionals who exhibit expertise and proficiency in their craft. From the first project I worked on with Tina things that most said were impossible were accomplished swiftly. This is also to say that my expectations were exceeded on each recursive account by Tina's uncanny ability to capture the exact vision which I once imagined. It is rare to see the image originally visualized on screen, but Tina delivers without fail. I have found this is not only due to her impeccable affinity for cinematography but also her unwavering charming and personable nature. She is hard working Producer, Director, and Cinematographer who accomplishes what she sets out to achieve with passion and quality.
I worked with Myron Parran on a project that I produced this summer entitled 'Sister, Sister, Sister.' Myron was very professional and he even introduced me to a lighting and a sound tech that were equally professional. The project was shot in Hollywood and Santa Monica with a newer director, and Myron proved to be very patient and informative--lending his ideas and suggestions to improve upon our initial shot list. Myron even volunteered to shoot the project on his red cam so that we could have an even better product. We shot long hours over the weekend and even did a quick move to a new location within one of the shooting days. Myron and his team disassembled and reassembled quickly enough for us to take advantage of our new location and increase the overall production value. I would recommend Myron to anyone and everyone. He was our rock.
I have years of experience around the camera. I have working on major motions pictures and television for many years in NYC. My experiences on film and television sets have giving me a wonderful perspective for unique imagery and an advantage of a sharp eye and attention to detail especially when under pressure. I run a very strain forward business with the goal of making every aspect from pre-shoot to post delivery efficient and easy.
