Used Zhong Xin Moving Company yesterday and they were simply excellent. They arrived exactly on time and the 3 movers that came worked incredibly fast and took great care of protecting the furniture. During the whole move I didn't see them taking any breaks. They went up and down stairs with no complaint. It has been my best experience with a moving company. There are also no hidden costs. For 3 movers it was $120/hour + $20 for diesel. That's it, nothing else. I highly recommend using this company for efficiency, professionalism and a great price.

Highly recommend! Efficient, professional, and good vibe! Response time is usually within an hour, answers questions in details and are very thorough. They will ask you for as many details as possible when you first contacted them to provide a quote. The quote is the highest estimate, for me the actual moving cost is half of the estimated quote, which is pretty good. Will ask for pictures of furniture, surrounding area and access of old place you are moving from and the new location you are moving to. They will wrap up everything and dissemble/resemble your furnitures based on request (cost extra but totally worth it, all my furnitures are white and the bed frame is queen size, so these two features really help!) Would definitely go to them if I ever need to move again within California!

Although Scott was adamant about charging me the $140 for 3 staff on a Saturday (even though I kept telling him I don't have that much furniture to move), he was flexible enough that I could book his services only a week or so before my desired move date. He was extremely easy to reach, on thumbtack and also through the phone. As I had predicted they only took about 30 minutes to move everything from each location (3 total) and the majority of the billed time was probably actually just drive time. Other than the fact that I dont think they wrapped my mattress up (had dirt on it when I took a look after they left), they were very fast, friendly, and efficient. They could have been slightly more careful with my items, but overall they did a great job. One shelf which was already slightly falling apart broke immediately when they tried to move it.

We asked for help uncrating and moving a 300+ lb marble-top table to our upstairs dining area. We felt a little rushed throughout the move. Also found several things were broken during the move. Overall an Ok experience. Reply to the owner based on his reply (I think you are confusing us with someone else): We moved on 2nd March and we were never on a four hour budget and I did'nt care if it took 10 hours or 12 as money was never an issue. That said all the furniture was wrapped and padded properly and I do not have any complaints about that. Below are the detailed points on why I though the move was just OK: a) I was promised 2 wardrobe boxes. The guys showed up without the boxes but assured us that by the end they would use wrap and use trash bags to transport the clothes hanging in the closet. By 1pm we were told they cannot do that and we have to transport the clothes on our own. b) Without informing us they started going away in the truck and I just saw them leaving (even though a lot of stuff was still left behind, which eventually I had to carry, ). This is where I started to feel very rushed (again I had no issues about the hours). c) You can see the damage to the closet in the picture. d) The dresser mirror was not attached back as you can see in the picture. e) They took more than 1 hour to reassemble my daybed slats. Based on the above points I feel my experience was just OK. I m being honest and would say the guys did work hard and did a decent job but things could have gone better. Hope you can correct these issues for future customers. Thanks

I had to move all the contents of my entire classroom into a storage unit this past Thursday, July 19th. Six years of my life stuffed into small, medium and large boxes plus a bunch of plastic containers and miscellaneous. After 3 days of intense packing I was left with a few hours to search for a moving company and storage space. I was simply overwhelmed. That's when I came across Rafael and his wife Natalia. They were the best thing that happened to me this past week. We agreed to meet at the school in South San Francisco at 9:00 am sharp. I arrived at 8:50 and found Rafael and Natalia already in full gear (padded gloves holding a dolly and blankets) waiting by the truck. They both greeted me with that strong handshake and warm smile so characteristic of Brazilians. I felt at home! After I showed them to my room and explained what I needed done they started carrying the boxes to the truck. They were diligent, extremely careful and professional. I was very impressed and relieved, as I had a painful experience with a moving company two years ago when we settled into our new home in Newark. When they were done storing all my items, Rafael informed me he made sure all the boxes were facing out so I could see their labels. That was something I was actually going to ask them to do, but ended up forgetting amidst all the commotion of saying goodbye to some of my work colleagues. The final touch was when Rafael asked me whether I was happy with the way he arranged the boxes inside the unit. I thought that was very thoughtful of him. They charged me a fairly reasonable price with no hidden fees. At the end, both parties were happy! I strongly recommend Rafael and Natalia's services and will definitely contact them again once I need my classroom supplies moved to a new classroom (which I hope will happen soon). Patricia M.

When you decide to book them the contract has a clause that you must tip 20%. It's mandatory. We would have tipped anyway but I just didn't like that it was in the contract. Also if you pay by credit card it's an additional 5% fee. The team arrived 10-15 minutes early and got started right away. They start by having you sign a maximum amount that the price should not exceed. We moved from a tri level 2 bdrm 2.5 bath in SSF to 2 story home in San Jose. I am pregnant so I couldn't finish packing but they offered packing services also which we took advantage of. You just have to pay for the hourly rate, of course. They also provided wardrobe boxes, wrap your furniture for you, disassemble and reassemble your furniture, which was a huge plus. They were making good time until they thought they finished loading the truck. We still had a quarter of the kitchen we wanted them to pack and move for us. They ran out of boxes due to a miscommunication between myself and the owner. So we decided to pause for lunch and they went to get more boxes. We offered to go to Home Depot close by but I guess it's in their policy that they need to provide their own boxes (unless you had them already). They didn't charge us for the lunch time. The guys are a good team. I would definitely refer them but you just need to be clear in what you need/want from them. I could have been more prepared and clearly communicate with the owner. We didn't mind paying the additional time. As long as we did the move at one time, that was all we cared about and they were able to get the job done after some negotiation.
