I wanted to invest in my health so I decided to hire a trainer. I specifically signed with Julian because one of my close friends previously trained with Julian to prepare for the Austin Marathon back on February 17, 2019. My friend and both ran the race. I saw the impact that Julian made on my friend’s race. My friend Vel was faster and stronger. She out ran me and had better race results. I enjoy working with Julian because he takes the time to explain each movement of an exercise and will go through the fundamentals. He is quick to correct your form to ensure you don’t hurt yourself. He is encouraging and always pushing me to do better but he is not over bearing. He is a positive force to have on your side. He has proven to me that my body is capable of more. After just two months I am stronger and noticing positive body changes. A plus is that he will also design personal home workouts for when we don’t meet. Been seeing Julian for some time now. He is the reason I get out of bed at 5:30am every other day, and it's worth the effort. I started seeing him to drop 15-20 lbs, through his coaching and a little will power, was able to do so in 8 weeks. I continue to work with him on a regular basis. Working with a trainer is far superior than hitting the gym to train on your own. Get better results, better form, in half the time, an over all more efficient and effective work out. Julian will always take the time to check in with you on your fitness goals and general well being. He will change up your work outs to keep you engaged and keep the results coming. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Initial consultation and needs analysis first. Next we go through a physical assessment to screen movements, strengths and weaknesses. Followed by a professional recommendation on exercise programming.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, DBC Biomechanics and Human Movements, Corrective Exercise Specialist.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I started training professionally after I graduated college in 2015, been helping people meet their fitness goals ever since then.
