FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I believe in honest, upfront pricing with no surprises. 10% discount for all new customers All work is quoted before the project begins No hidden fees or unexpected charges If I provide materials, payment is typically: 50% upfront to purchase materials and secure the project 50% upon completion For smaller projects, payment is generally due when the work is completed I am willing to discuss pricing when reasonable and always try to find solutions that work for both parties My goal is to provide quality work at a fair price while being transparent every step of the way.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My goal is to make the process simple and stress-free. I prefer to meet customers in person, look at the project, answer questions, and provide a detailed quote before any work begins. For projects located more than 40 miles away, I may ask for photos and videos first and provide an estimate based on the information provided. If needed, we can schedule a site visit before moving forward. Once we agree on the scope of work and pricing, I'll schedule your project as soon as possible and keep you informed throughout the process.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I completed my apprenticeship and worked as a Drywall Journeyman under the Carpenter's Local Union in Honolulu, Hawaii. Through my union training and field experience, I developed strong skills in construction, craftsmanship, job site safety, project planning, and quality workmanship. My experience comes from years of hands-on work in concrete, masonry, outdoor improvements, handyman services, and property maintenance. I continue to build my knowledge through real-world projects and practical experience, focusing on quality workmanship, durability, and customer satisfaction. I take pride in providing professional-quality work, clear communication, and dependable service on every project, whether it's a small repair or a larger outdoor improvement.
