Latest Review: Clifford is patient, tailors his teaching method to my abilities, is flexible with my schedule, and is passionate about his profession. As an adult, it's especially challenging for me to be taking beginner piano lessons, but quite fun. I've experienced quite a bit of progress under his tutelage over the last several months and am quite pleased.

Latest Review: I had studied piano as a child, and I began to play again after I retired. When I moved to Walnut Creek I transferred my piano lessons to Martin. I found that his lessons were much more comprehensive than my previous teacher's. In addition to helping with the basics, he teaches more subtle aspects of interpreting each piece that results in greater musicality than I had achieved before. Although this is more demanding, he is very supportive and encouraging, and I look forward to each lesson.

Latest Review: Inger is a phenomenal piano teacher. My daughter started taking lessons from Inger about a year ago. I am amazed at the progress she has made in such a short amount of time. In addition, Inger has many personal attributes that go beyond her knowledge of piano. In addition to being very hard-working, she is professional, enthusiastic, encouraging and effervescent. Her recitals are well-organized and enjoyable. Her positive attitude is wonderful for my adolescent daughter. I consider her to be a mentor to my daughter in addition to being a wonderful piano teacher. I can't imagine suggesting any improvement to Inger. I am thrilled that we found her.

Latest Review: I have known Lynn for 35 years and you cannot ask for a better piano teacher. Lynn started teaching me piano 35 years ago, and now she is teaching my daughter. Lynn is extremely caring, knowledgeable and passionate. Our daughter has flourished since beginning piano lessons with Lynn 2 years ago; she is playing advanced songs that most students her age wouldn't be able to play. Lynn makes learning piano fun, and our daughter enjoys practicing daily without us having to remind her. We are very happy to have Lynn as our teacher, and would encourage anyone interested in piano to call her first.

About: I have a Master of Music in Vocal Pedagogy and over 10 years of music teaching experience. I teach private and small group lessons in voice, piano, and music theory/musicianship. I work with voice students of all ages and skill levels, in a variety of musical styles including pop, rock, musical theater, and classical/opera. I also teach beginning to intermediate level piano, as well as music theory and sight-singing. My teaching style is warm, positive, and patient. I work well with younger kids, teens, and adults. I expect my students to work hard and push themselves, but I also believe that making music should be fun. *NOTE: my home studio is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible. I also have a dog (who stays outside during lessons), so students with severe dog allergies may not be comfortable at my house— but I do vacuum frequently and have an air purifier in the music room.

Latest Review: Denise is very professional and experienced. She immediately corrected my daughter's bowing and now she's getting better, louder, fuller sounds from her violin. Easy to talk to and willing to help her students anytime. Excited for great strides to be made as we are just beginning lessons.
