Introduction: I've been a professional drummer for 50 years, playing everything from Rock, R&B, Funk, to Latin, Jazz and Big Bands. Some of my instructors include Joe Morello and Gary Chester. I have taught hundreds of students of all ages good technique and practice skills, how to play and read whatever style of music they are interested in. Lessons are taylor made for each student.

Gary Gibbons taught drums at my music store for many years until I retired in 2021 and closed my store after 51 years. The reputation of my store was always having the finest group of teachers available . Not only is Gary a great drummer and fabulous teacher, but he has wonderful personality and positive attitude working with his students. Gary’s students continued taking lessons even after becoming very good players in rock and jazz bands because he always has been able to inspire them to be even better.
