Mark is a real professional and craftsman. I hired his service to install finish real oak tread and riser on stairs previously finished with carpet. It needed a real craftsman and Mark's Mitzvah's surpassed my expectation. Thank you very much Mark.

Mark converted my 70 square foot primary bedroom closet into a permitted spa. He designed & built a beautiful 2-level gas aspen wood sauna and put in a 7 foot soaking tub. His work shows his perfectionism, knowledge and the care he uses in design and building. I found him to be conscientious and concerned about my end of the costs, showing most affordable options. This is not the first project he has done for my family. I will continue to rely on him for basic and detailed home projects.

Mark- Thank you for the super job you did building a wheelchair ramp out back after my hip replacement. The ramp is completely smooth, safe, & sturdy-I know it's not going anywhere. I appreciate your explaining the need for using building code standards for my safety & resale value. I'm always impressed with your work. Sincerely Zol

Ok job... horrible billing! This person charges you after the fact for time he spent talking to you, mileage, drive time and the list goes on! There is no issues with charging for different parts of the job, the problem is he tells you after the job is done! This is not transparent! During tough times, its always good to know that there are people out there still trying to cheat others. He states “40$ hourly” but what that means is “I will charge as much as i want including time i spent talking to you!” I wish this wasnt true but it is, i have messages to prove it! I will gladly share them in case you need to see them. Don’t hire unless ur ready to pay way more than what you were told per hour!

Details: Storm or screen door • 1 door • Standard • Metal • No, but the door frame exists • Yes, I already purchased the door • Home

I am truly sorry about our misunderstanding. I had thought that through the time I dedicated to answering in detail all of your concerns, we reached a clear agreement. As part of my strong work ethic, I strive to provide clear, mutual contracts prior to the start of any job. When you contacted me regarding the installation of a Lowe’s security door, you were clear that you wanted to beat Lowe’s installation quote of $150. We agreed to a fee of $120 for the straight installation. When I am asked to commit to a firm quote—as opposed to working at my hourly rate—I commit to performing the job, even if unforeseen problems arise. For General Contractors, a negotiated quote means that the job might take more time and effort, or a bit less. With your project, the security door fit required extensive trimming on both sides of the stucco walls, since the security door was larger than the opening. This work was in addition to the door’s installation. I gladly resolved this problem for the negotiated $120. Normally, this would incur an additional fee, known as a change order. I am glad that you are pleased with the quality of my work and that I was able to accomplish the job for under Lowe’s rate. It upsets me that we did not end with you feeling satisfied. I would rather have a satisfied, happy client and spend a little more of my own time to resolve a job than have a few extra dollars in my pocket. In my over 50 years as a builder and General Contractor, I have always prioritized doing high quality work, establishing harmonious relationships and finding the most economical solutions to my clients’ building and remodeling projects When seeking contractors for future projects, I encourage you to consider if you are more comfortable paying an hourly rate versus a flat quote. Again, I am sorry that we walked away with any misunderstanding. I wish you the best. Sincerely, Mark Taylor
