It's been just 2 weeks (4 sessions) since I started training with Markshane from Shape Up Studios, and it's been so awesome so far that I felt compelled to write a review about my experience! We had our first consultation 3 weeks ago, and i was a little hesitant about getting a new trainer (since i had to leave my old trainer do to relocating to SD)and wondered if he'd meet my expectations. I'm a figure competitor and love to workout but just got stuck in a boring routine and started falling short of meeting my goals to get me back out on stage. Not only did he have the same visions for me when I walked in and met with him for the first time, but I'm already on the fast track to meeting the goals. My energy is up and my confidence is back! If you are looking for someone to who will motivate you, listen to what you need, make a personalized plan for you, push you to your limits, and help you start reaching your goals, then I definitely recommend Markshane.

I have been training with Jobie for about 5 years. Great trainer!!! His knowledge of how the body is supposed to work, in my view is very important. I think that is why I do not get hurt while training. If I am doing something wrong he will correct my stance and or posture so I do not injure myself.

Eric Cruz has been my personal trainer for over two years at Dynamic Fitness High Performance Kinesiology (DF-HPK). Eric listened to my goals and we set about meeting and exceeding them. Besides being overweight and having poor eating habits, I had ongoing low energy and back pain. My exercise routine at home was not getting the results I desired anymore. Eric was able to assist me in motivating myself to be a better person. I have lost over 40 pounds and now eat healthy foods that keep me full. Eric helped me in strength, balance, posture, and in achieving a lower BMI. What is impressive is that Eric is always on time and keeps the training interesting yet challenging. Eric works around my commuting schedule. I get a lot of complements at work now and fit better in my clothes. DK is located on Jefferson Avenue a few blocks north of Winchester Rd.

No BS and listens to you if you say you want to work toward being a badass rather than simply becoming more slender. In a world full of we-wouldn't-want-you-to-get-too-many-muscles workouts for women, this is of great value! Plus nutrition knowledge that comes from experience rather than the latest clickbait article. Am looking forward to training!

As a physician working very long hours and a new dad, I was suffering from worsening fatigue, stiffness, and discomfort. I no longer have discomfort, and have significantly improved my posture, strength, and mobility by working with Kathleen. I feel improvements with each training session, which specifically address my issues of concern. I look forward to my work outs, and I actually enjoy them. Kathleen is an absolute pleasure to work with, and is very knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend her!
I met with Roger for a training session and interview to determine if we would be a good match. He was great..very attentive....he asked questions and was genuinely interested in learning about my goals. The workout was challenging..he pushed but not sonjard that O felt uncomfortable. His prices were fair! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because we are just getting started. I will review again once I have more sessions under my belt.
Being asked to describe Johanna's knowledge in the fitness industry and more importantly, how she translates that knowledge into her clients specific needs and goals is almost like asking one to describe every single star on a mid summer night. There is simply too many, yet each unique it's own way. Johanna has been working with me for 3+ years now working on my yoga practice. And to say the least, she gave a TOTALLY diffrent perspective on the practice itself. Johanna created a yoga practice that was simply perfect. It was designed SPECIFICALLY for my health, flexibility, and fitness level. Johanna's main accomplishment within my practice is her ability to demonstrate the importance of my breathing technique in ease with focusing on the importance of my motion to go along with my breath. Johanna is truely the brightest star in the sky. Not just on the first session, not on the second, but every single session she teaches because she assures you receive 100% dedication. Johanna works effortlessly within the classroom as well as home to assure her clients receive the best training possible in order for ALL her clients to acheive their goals. I highly reccomend Johanna and personally consider having johanna as a trainer a privledge and look forward to training with her for many years to come.
I've had a wonderful experience training with Rochelle over the past three months. In this short time the results I've seen following her training and diet plan have transformed me into a healthier, happier and more confident person. I hired Rochelle after noting a trend of weight gain as a result of a sedentary job. She is thorough in her evaluation, very motivating, and challanges you to achieve the goals you have set. As a result I now have some abs for the first time in my life!!! I seriously can't believe it! Rochelle's passion for her profession is very apparent in how well she treats her clients. I would highly recommend her to anyone speaking a professional trainer.

We were very impressed with Carlos' professionalism and the training he provided was exemplary. CPR, First Aid and AED training can be lengthy and at times you may lose the interest of a few, but he and his assistant kept everyone engaged and on topic. Will definitely be using his services again.
I worked with Anthony from my sophomore year of high school to my senior year, and his training truly prepared me to be a Division 1 athlete and helped to keep my body healthy. When I first started training with Anthony I had a shoulder injury that prevented me from performing on the volleyball court and left me with constant shoulder pain, after a few months my injury was not only healed but I was actually playing better than I ever had. Throughout my time training with Anthony I gained 6-8 inches on my vertical jump and became much more powerful and explosive on the court allowing me to play on high level teams and be recruited by top schools throughout the nation. All of the training was very specific to my sport and it definitely showed. The focus on not only pushing my strength, but doing the lifts with the right technique kept my body healthy while still growing much stronger. Coming in to division 1 volleyball after working with him I was not only prepared, but ahead of the curve for our demanding strength and conditioning workouts. All in all, working with Anthony not only saved my shoulder and therefore my volleyball future, but helped make my entire body stronger and ready for the high impact of a division 1 sport!
Laura is very knowledgeable about fitness training and nutrition and how to help me reach my goals. She consistently monitors my capabilities and easily challenges me to the next level of fitness. After just a few weeks, I am more toned and have noticed a real change in my appearance! Laura combines knowledge, encouragement, and a great personality to make for an all-around fantastic personal trainer! I look forward to each session and reaching my toning and weight loss goal. Danny is the most knowledgable trainer I have ever hired. Not only is he skilled in basic muscle-fitness training exercises, he also is incredibly knowledgeable in nutrition and how it correlates to the human metabolic system. He’s a true professional who has your best interest at heart. He is very sensitive to the needs you may have and will work with any limitations you might have. He is a true joy to be around and I look forward to the time I spend training with him. I endorse him 110 percent!
I have had a few different trainers before finding Brittney, and I didn’t have a great experience with them. I felt as if the meal plans that I was recieving were pre-made and not really for me. Training with Brittney, she’s provided me a meal plan that works for me! There’s certain things I cannot eat and she makes the point to form the plan around my tolerance and still achieve results. I have lost 10 pounds in two months of training with her AND gained 5 pounds of muscle! I feel amazing. I am still training with her and plan to. With demanding job as photographer, I find it really easy to get the work done and it’s all explain for me in the app. Best trainer I have ever had! Thank you for all your hard work! 5 out of 5!
