FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got my BA in Liberal Studies and was actually planning to be an Occupational Therapist until I went to Israel to travel for two weeks. I had such a liberating experience traveling and trying new things that I knew what would make me happy would be cooking for people. I love expressing myself through food and teaching people how to create delicious and nutritious food right in their home and show them how to create things they never thought they would like.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have catered weddings and dinner parties for large parties as well as small gatherings. My favorite affair is small dinner parties or cocktail parties and appetizers or private lessons.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently did a housewarming party for a couple that bought a house in Beverly Hills that was very elegant and very fun. We had an indoor buffet of quiches, grilled vegetable platters, hummus dips, homemade chips, Mediterranean pasta salad, cheese and exotic meats platter, as well as an outdoor buffet with fresh sliders being made, a fresh caprese salad, hand passed bruscettas, endive salad with apples and tarragon, as well as a grilled fruit sangria being served at the bar.
