Introduction
I have been teaching for 30 years and performing ever since I can remember…I’m a young 48, lol. The reason I teach is to pass on the gift of music, if which I have been blessed. I teach any style of music with a solid foundation built on scales and music theory. I cater to each student and build lessons around their interests to build their confidence and appreciation of music. I offer online lessons and travel locally to the homes of students, age 5 to adults.

Working with Mark proved to be not just one of the most substantial student teacher relationships I’ve ever had but one of the strongest friendships I’ve made in music. His passion for the music and teaching is clear and in my almost 7 years of working with him I’ve not come close to finding a better teacher.

My son has taken piano lessons from Mark for many years now and still loves him! I think he is a great teacher because he takes the time to figure out what motivates the student and then caters the lessons and assignments to suit him/her. Seeing the progress my son was making, my husband also decided to take lessons with him. Mark also helped us purchase a piano and thanks to him, we found a great piano at a fair price that should last his lifetime.
