Kandis is a top-notch yoga instructor--and I am VERY particular about yoga instructors. She is the only personal yoga instructor I have ever had who thoughtfully explains what you are doing, why you are doing it, and how it impacts the muscles and structure of your body as you do it, too, which I love. Because of this I find myself easily integrating yoga into my day on days I don't see her just because I know what to do and how to do it. She also has a fun personality and you can easily see she actually enjoys teaching yoga which makes the process of doing yoga 10x's more enjoyable. I leave our sessions together feeling so much better energetically and physically than I typically do from yoga. If you are looking for an excellent yoga teacher who is thoughtful, thorough, highly intelligent, fun to work with, who will foster and help you grow your own love of yoga beyond your sessions together, you need Kandis in your life!

Everyone advised me against learning swimming as an adult but I took a chance with Veronique as my swimming-instructor and she proved everyone wrong. I am a BIG person and she made me overcome all my phobias and helped me learn. She is a really patient teacher and respects your limitations, and yet pushes you subtly to get out of your comfort zone. I am really happy that I found her and I highly recommend her as a swimming instructor for both kids and adults. The best part is she slips in a little bit of workout and Yoga tips into your swimming class, which helps you A LOT once you are in water and actually swimming :)

I had a private yoga session with Claire and as someone new to yoga, I felt that Claire's instruction was clear and helpful. I've gone through a few yoga techniques on my own following the instruction of youtube videos, but I found Claire's session to help take me to the next level. She corrected my form and technique to help me get the most out of my yoga and I could really feel the difference in what I was doing before versus what I learned from the private session. Claire helped me loosen up my hips and introduced a few new poses that I've added to my routine and helped fine tune the ones I was already familiar with. Overall, I enjoyed my session with Ferox Yoga and would definitely try more classes in the future.

I met Jerry while attending Sangha Yoga in Kalamazoo, MI. His classes quickly became my favorite. He is approachable, fun loving, and down to earth. His classes were a physical challenge combined with a light heartedness not found elsewhere. Jerry was a big instrument in helping me find my inner yogi and in understanding more about myself and in turn, the world. Highly recommend!

Audra is an incredible instructor, with so much energy & love, both "on and off the mat", carrying lessons and balance into her own daily life. She has good knowledge of philosophy & ancient history, and how to teach, sharing this through the practice of yoga. I was blessed to know her through Wilmington Yoga Ctr. N.C., where she taught for some time, and as a neighbor, before her move to the West Coast. I like her philosophy because it is truth, and how we are taught as instructors to carry out and follow the teaching of yoga according to history. Including group or individual classes, there is a positive attitude and energy and she is also true to form in her dedication to help others learn, at any level of experience. She shares and learns from her own fellow yogis, as we all are students, not only teachers, for life. She knows the importance of proper alignment and care for those in class needing assistance, encouragement to first practice "Ahimsa", Sanskrit for"first, non-harming", as well as no judgement, including of self. She has a great understanding of anatomy. She is always smiling! She is creative, fun and knows how to teach, with compassion, and a true desire to share her skills and also connect with others. I truly miss her here, and encourage anyone to enjoy and definitely seek her out, I cannot imagine a better instructor or any need for improvement with her!

Prior to meeting Jaime, I had only tried yoga four, maybe five times. I’m a cardio junkie and yoga is just so slooooow. If I’m gonna spend 60 minutes exercising, I’d better get sweaty and sore. Enter Jaime. Wonderful, kind, positive, patient Jaime. At our first consultation (which was free of charge) she let me rant about my general yoga skepticism. But she also got me to acknowledge my real, physical pain. Tight hips. Back aches. Knee injury. Standard stuff. After that consultation, Jaime put together a custom plan for us to work through these issues. Which we did, every week. And it turns out, yoga CAN make you sweaty and sore. But I think what I valued most about working with Jaime was her sincerity. Before we started each session, we’d chat about things going on in my life contributing to stress. She’d help me move past them, so I could shake off the day and be present in the moment while we were training. I’m so glad to have met her. I honestly wish we could practice together every day. I would absolutely recommend Jaime to anyone. Especially yoga newbies.

Gina Rose is the best yoga instructor in San Francisco! She is patient, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to yoga. After even just my first private class with Gina Rose I felt like my practice was stronger and I finally understood how to do some of the more complicated poses I had been doing wrong for years! I'm even getting my sister a set of classes with Gina Rose for her birthday this year!

For me, Ericka is one of those people that you feel fortunate when you cross paths with them in life. I met Ericka when she started teaching yoga at my company twice a week more than two years ago. She is easily relatable, down to earth and doesn't take her self too seriously - but she definitely knows her yoga. Our class is a great combo of folks who take yoga seriously and folks who are there for work yoga. I appreciate how she tries to tailor each class based on what types of ailments each of us have that day. But more than that, Ericka has been a friend and an awesome teacher for me personally, so if you have the chance to meet her and work with her - I would highly recommend it. Gabe

I have been very impressed with the level of quality training I have received from Nick (The Big Yogi). Nick has provided me with wellness and nutrition information, stress relief techniques and private yoga and fitness training. He is genuine and I never feel that he is condescending. He works at the pace of my body and pushes me to excel at my goals. I cannot express how pleased I have been with his process. Nick offers a fresh perspective of experiencing Yoga, which is both meditative and challenging.

Orly offers an exceptional yoga practice that has supported my growth on physical, emotional, and spiritual levels, as well as experiencing the healing of her classes. Orly is able to connect with the flow of each class and make adjustments as needed, seamlessly. She is respectful of people's time, and doesn't ever feel forced-whether its the length of class or holding an individual pose. I have felt welcome and comfortable in Orly's classes, and even though my yoga experience is limited, I am able to find a way to challenge and embrace my own potential with her teaching. Highly recommend that you give yourself the gift of a class or session with Orly, it is truly magical!

I've been working with Julie as I get back into doing yoga again. It's been awesome to tell her what I need, whether I'm sore from a run or walking around the city all day or I need a good workout. She creates awesome classes based on what I need so I can follow along and learn through my body instead of having to think so much about what to do. Practicing outside is new to me and has been really enhancing my ability to feel connected to my practice, as well as being the best start to my day. I definitely recommend it!

Ruku is my friend and I took couple of her classes in YTTP Berkeley. That class was great, her projections were great, very thorough and best part about the class was her voice; which is very calming and relaxing and perfect match for a yoga instructor. I recommend Ruku for Power vinyasa flow.

I had been looking for a new approach to my Yoga practice. One that is non judgmental and offered me a more relaxed and less pressured approach to my practice. I happened upon JoAnn when she started subbing then permanently working as a Yoga Instructor at a gym I am a member of. Not only did I feel welcomed and relaxed in her approach, I wanted to make sure I followed her where ever she taught. She really is the real deal and helps the student learn more about the true meaning and spirit of Yoga. And Here I Am a Yoga Delta follower!

She gave me clear and specific tools that I can apply as I develop my own practice and attend other group classes. I highly recommend Regina to anyone looking for a more personalized introduction to yoga. I will be booking again with her very soon!

If I could, I'd give Dana 10 stars. I was referred to Dana by Dr Jason Rabineau (see review) when I mentioned to him that I was interested in 1:1 yoga. And I'm so grateful. I've practiced yoga off and on for years and have always enjoyed the poses, breathing, and mindfulness that it has brought. I'd never had the chance to practice 1:1 and as I've gotten older, I've needed more guidance to figure out ways to move my body without injuring it. My tendency is to over do it and I end up with some type of strain/pain. When I started seeing Dana I told her I was interested in getting more in tune with my body, learning how to do yoga without injuring myself, and starting a home practice. What I've experienced in my 1:1 sessions with Dana is nothing less than amazing. She is very gifted in knowing our bodies, helping to bring awareness to parts of our bodies that we often don't pay as much attention to (back body) and giving just the right instruction to get into and be in poses the way that is best for your individual body. Each session is unique and individualized depending on what's going on with you physically and emotionally. In just the short time that I've been working with Dana, I've noticed my body become more supple and pliable. Dana is helping me to really get to know my body through doing the poses. I'm more aware of my bodies tendencies than I ever have been. She's also given me a routine I can practice at home - one that I feel confident in doing on my own that I know I won't hurt myself doing. I can't recommend Dana enough. It feels like true self care practicing with her

Dawn is my yoga teacher at my local yoga studio, but she also gave me private sessions after surgery. She devised my own special practice with careful consideration of my recovery and my specific physical issues. She is kind, patient and makes yoga accessible to everyone. Yoga practice has literally changed my life and health, and she has been an integral part of this new journey.

Dea is a fantastic yoga instructor as she clues into the space of the class in a meaningful way. She has a rare gift of being able to connect through yoga and this is the best private I have ever taken. Her knowledge of the practice comes through in a fluid way that does not contain but opens.
