Fred is a fantastic tennis instructor! I am a beginner/intermediate and he has helped me so tremendously in a short period of time. It is clear that he has experience and knowledge, but he also makes our lessons really fun. I would highly recommend Fred to a player of any level!

Great experience with Julio - he comes early to reserve court space for us, works is hard during the lesson, and is flexible on timing for our lessons, which is great for our schedule with a 6 month old to manage around!

Sam is an awesome tennis instructor! I've never played before, and he took the time to go through all of the basics of tennis. He is great at explaining the motions and techniques, and just as importantly, he made it fun! Can't wait for our future lessons. I also really liked that he took slow-motion video of my form, which allowed us to look more closely at what I was doing right and wrong.

I am a 4.0 player and have taken occasional lessons from various pros, but never before did I get as much out of and learn from my lessons as I do from lessons with coach Eli. She does not change my game, but adds and improves it tremendously to the point that I am hitting points I only dreamed of before. She teaches by showing, less talking. For me it is easier to imitate than listen, one hits a ton of balls during one lesson!. I feel my game has improved 100% in only 2-3 months. And I am having so much fun!!!

We worked out a time and place to meet for the first lesson to see if it will work for both of us. He was very responsive via email. Thumbtack was a very useful tool in helping me find a tennis instructor.

My sons (10 yrs & 12 yrs) take tennis lessons from Dan and are receiving quality training from him. Dan is very professional and does a great job giving them detailed technical guidance and encouragement. He definitely knows his stuff! He's also been extremely flexible to work with when classes need to be rescheduled. I highly recommend Dan for tennis lessons.

Daniel is an amazing coach. I've been taking lessons from him for two years now -since his debut- and he's on top of his work, gives advice on tournaments, and brings other players in to hit during the lesson. He comes well prepared and knows his stuff. He's a great coach and a great guy.

My daughter just started taking tennis lessons from Don this past week and she is really enjoying it. My daughter says its easy to learn from Don, he's kind, and really great at explaining the technique of the game, as well as implementing what he has taught her. We have already signed up for several additional lessons. Thank you Don!

My 11yo son was taking tennis lessons at a club in Orinda and believed that I was paying way too much. I decided to try out Thumbtack to find a different coach. We found Gary and I loved his style of teaching much better than the old "top $" coach. He recognized my sons weaknesses right away and ran drills and exercises with him that helped a lot. We took the summer off because of soccer and vacations, but I plan to start back up with Gary as soon as my son's schedule dies down. I highly recommend Gary!
