- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
NO- we work with your budget- These are tougher economic times...the new normal. As a small business owner, its not always about profit- its about the value I give the client, the long term relationship we build, and the mutual success we both enhance our careers with. The new capitalism is more to do with giving than taking. We have taken too much from the planet- now is the time, as good parents or good stewards would do, to give back to our planet- to respect it- to protect it. This gluttonous use of energy- finite natural resources- is not the way we should be heading into the future. My business is ' eco-literate ' : how can we save paper? cut down on our own driving be kinder to each other be smarter with our driving we could be loving more and driving less.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am always online reading about developments. Often I am discussing with colleagues new ways of doing things, ways of saving money and time- 2 of the most important aspects of any project.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started creating/performing/audio recording when I was 6 years old. I haven't looked back. Its in my blood, My DNA. I pursued this into college- becoming an On Air Broadcaster in 1982- working my way to top joq at a station in the Sacramento market. From that job I learned better communication , how to present myself as a celebrity; I learned how to do commercial production, and ended up designing and programming my own radio shows. I also was getting into video editing at the time. Throughout the nineties I taught many many course on computers to the young, the old and small business owners. I dived completely into digital media in 1996, evolving with the technology. I was an early adopter. Its paid off, and all of it has served me well.
