I cannot express highly enough our satisfaction in selecting Mari Deno at 8 DAYS Design to stage our home. Mari responded immediately to our search request and from the very beginning, she was extremely responsive and took the time to fully understand what we were looking for - in order to provide us with a well thought out bid that worked within our budget. My wife and I (and our realtor) unanimously agreed that Mari was best suited to put her heart and energy fully into staging our home - much more than anyone else we were considering. Plus, we loved her style and felt she understood how best to accentuate the look and feel of our home. Forget 8 days - we only had FOUR days to pull this off and Mari delivered, working until 4 am the last night to ensure the staging was completed for our photo shoot the following day. She even stayed with us during the photo shoot, working with our photographer to ensure every angle and nuance was highlighted to perfection. Her professionalism and attention to detail was nothing short of amazing and her staging surpassed our high expectations. That being said, at the end of the day what really matters is how well the market responds to the staging, and I am thrilled to report that we just received a FULL PRICE OFFER after our first broker/client open house - just 36 hours after hitting the market! This is truly amazing, given homes in our area typically sit for 270 days or longer. The staging definitely made a difference. This was a true partnership from the minute Mari responded to our thumbtack request, and we cannot express enough the importance of Mari's contribution to achieving a very positive outcome. Mari was fantastic! When neither of my regular stagers were available for a quick turnaround on $1.4 million dollar home, I turned to Thumbtack and am so glad I found her. She has a keen eye for design and the quality of her inventory was perfect for this high end home. She is super easy to work with and anxious to please at every stage of the process. My experience with Mari at 8 days Design was excellent! Mari is very professional and she knows her craft very well. I attribute the excellent online attention to Mari's staging and photo shoot. The property attracted a lot of buyers to our first open house and we received an offer the very next day. Her use of layers made the home feel warm. Her attention to detail highlights the houses main attributes. Her use of color pops and contrasts perfectly with the color of the house. Overall, Mari and her crew did an amazing job. I look forward to working with her in the future.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We schedule a walkthrough to determine and create your Staging program/budget as each property is unique in its design, square footage and condition. We absolutley love to assist you in saving money with REpurposing any inventory you may already own if each piece will positively enhance your Staging program.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. Initial phone conversation for introducing myself! 2. Schedule property walkthrough 3. Curate STAGING program 4. Email your itemized STAGING proposal 5. Place deposit to secure calendar and services 6. Schedule STAGING date
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 15 years experience in the design/production industry. To ensure a smooth transition, I decided to also complete the staging course with the highly accredited AHSC Academy located in Orange County. (Image of my AHSC Certification is listed in my THUMBTACK Photo section.)
