I know it’s a lot, but please read further for the kind of work I do and don’t do before requesting an estimate. Thank you so much!
My name is Danielle and I’m located in southern Florida (born and raised in eastern WA state) and as long as you’re willing to ship your jewelry to and back from me, it doesn’t matter where you’re located.
I’ve worked in the jewelry industry, both retail and wholesale, for over 15 years, all around the country. I’ve been designing and creating my own jewelry for nearly 10 years.
I love every aspect of jewelry and I would love to offer my services to my neighbors. I’ve spent years creating unique, special request jewelry items for my friends and family as well as repairing pieces they’ve already had for years. Why not spread that out among my neighborhood?
I will never be anything but honest and my genuine self when it comes to anything and everything, including my work as a jewelry designer/builder/fixer, and I pride myself on being straight forward with my customers. I will not take the job if I don’t trust that I’m capable of going above and beyond your expectations. I’m not afraid to say what I’m capable of and what I’m not. So below are examples of what I am and am not capable of at this time.
I work mainly with wire, beads (natural gemstones are my favorite), Sterling silver, gold/silver-filled, and metals with high quality platings that include a lot of pretty “antiqued” colors. Nothing I use will turn your skin green! 😜 I do not work with gold, platinum, titanium, etc.
I can make/repair practically any dangle earring, beaded bracelet, anklet, or necklace requested whether it be on chain, beading wire, or a thread of some sort (materials and supplies taken into account, of course) and I’m a self proclaimed professional pearl knotter (pearls not exclusive). My favorite pieces I’ve made lately are natural gemstones on silk, knotted between each bead into double wrapped bracelets. Sustainable quality and unique. 😁 I know all of the basic and not so basic wire wrapping techniques. Show me a picture of a gemstone, I’ll name it. Hand me an ear wire, I’ll tell you the metal and whether it’s plated or not.
I really dislike seed-beads...I do not own a loom, but I’m not unwilling to work with them. Unfortunately, I am NOT a metal smith, though I will absolutely be so one day. I have a block, hammer, stamps and some blanks if you want a very handmade, one of a kind stamped piece. 😉 That’s about it when it comes to straight metal fabrication. I also have basic leather stamping materials plus resin and bezels. I enjoy those, but I am a novice.
All in all, if you trust me with your jewelry piece whether it be something I’m creating or a piece of yours that you’re entrusting me with, I promise you will get nothing less than quality jewelry that I have put my heart and soul into.
Please contact me with any requests, concerns or questions!! Thank you so much."
