FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I love to provide a service that can greatly affect people's lives. I am constantly researching ways to improve the health and life experience of the people I work on, therefore, I am always learning, and am grateful for that.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have noticed an increased need for deep tissue. With our sedentary life styles involving long commutes and extensive computer use, people are experiencing more chronic pain in the upper back and neck. This pain can be as simple as a tight muscle or compound as muscle spasm with nerve impingement leading to migraines, numbness in the fingers, TMJ syndrome, restricted breathing, poor circulation, and the list goes on.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
You will want somebody that is very familiar with human anatomy and kinesiology, in this way they can advise you of movement patterns that can contribute to areas of tension. It is also important that your practitioner possess knowledge of a variety of techniques that can be applied to meet your personal goals. Everyone's level of sensitivity is different, and some techniques may achieve a greater result than others depending on the body's response.
