What has evolved, is not only a love for this lost art, but a true appreciation of people seeing their valued pieces come back to life. Rafael recently refinished 4 pieces of furniture for our granddaughter. The pieces were purchased almost 25 years ago from an antique shop for our daughter. From start to finish he was extremely polite, professional and informative. This bedroom set has great sentimental value and we wanted it perfect for our granddaughter. There were some slight delays due to weather (rain and low temps). He kept in touch every step of the way. Rafael picked up and delivered the furniture and we had the finished set before she was born. The quality of his work is AMAZING! The pieces had to be stripped, re-stained, varnished and some scratches had to be removed. Everything turned out absolutely perfect! His price was far better than other quotes we received. We can’t say enough great things about him and his workmanship. We will not hesitate in the future to have him do additional pieces. 100+% satisfied! Mr. Loera was wonderful to work with--very efficient, took on a difficult task and remedied a long standing problem with our chairs. Came to our home to pick up and return the chairs. The Gressitt studio person that was first recommended wouldn't come to our home unless we paid him $180 and that was only to see if he could fix the problem...repair would be extra!
