- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For new garage door replacements, we offer free on-site estimates with no service fee required. For service work, we charge a $99 service fee, which covers dispatching a trained technician to your location, diagnosing the issue, and providing a detailed estimate. If you choose to move forward with the recommended repair or installation during the same visit, the $99 fee is waived and applied toward the labor cost of the job.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When a customer contacts Tip Top Garage Door & Gate, we schedule a technician to visit their property at the earliest available time. Once the appointment is booked, the customer receives a confirmation via email and text, including a two-hour arrival window. On the day of service, we send a real-time update with the technician’s estimated time of arrival as soon as they're en route, so the customer knows exactly when to expect us.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our technicians receive ongoing, hands-on training in garage door systems, including installation, repair, and troubleshooting. Many of our team members come from mechanical or construction backgrounds and have completed manufacturer-specific training for the products we service.
