I style with empathy, so I will never put someone in something that risks making him/her feel uncomfortable.
I style objectively - what I suggest for my sister will be worlds away from what I suggest for a friend, and I am confident in my ability to satisfy all preferences, personalities, lifestyles... however you choose to view it!
Most importantly, I style best when I'm trusted to help make someone's confidence shine.
There is something special about helping someone look, and more importantly, feel their best. Whether a client sticks to what she knows, or branches out to slightly unfamiliar territory, I just love being able to witness the confidence boost.

This was my very first time trying a style concierge and I wasn't expecting much. I did not have any urgent need for a stylist at the moment, but was trying this service out, out of curiosity, after finding this great deal on Gilt!
Boy, was I pleasantly surprised with my experience! Carrie gave me some valuable suggestions that have added life to my wardrobe. She also put together shopping boards for me ( again as I did not have any particular shopping requirements at the time). These boards are pretty neat ( and must have taken her some time to put together). She ensured that the items fit my budget and I am looking forward to donning the style suggestions given by her in these boards.
I liked the fact that Carrie kept all my requirements in mind, and not once did she push me to do something I wasn't up for. It felt as if I was talking to a friend in all my interactions with her.
Overall I had a great experience with her and would highly recommend her ( esp.if you are on the fence about using a style concierge!).

I had a wardrobe consultation session with Carrie as well as a shopping trip. Both times with Carrie was amazing. She was very thorough and direct helping me organize my closet. She immediately understood my taste and put different looks together. Then we went on a shopping trip. She pulled more than 70 pieces for me and we picked the best ones together. I loved that we focused on finding timeless, signature pieces and I get a lot of compliments on those. I am a picky person when it comes down to fashion, there are certain brands I like and Carrie was an expert in them. After our trip, we continue to collaborate on my lookbook online. It is an excellent experience. I highly recommend Carrie.

Wow, Carrie Hiller was such a gift to me (from me)! I was very reluctant to take the plunge and do this for myself - thinking it was sort of a luxury. HA! Was I ever wrong. After going through this with Carrie in particular, I realize that this was a total necessity and I really would have saved myself a ton of money had I done this a long time ago. It's an investment in yourself, especially if you're like me and going through life transition (and new sizes)... Carrie was so professional (and kind to me) she met with me first. She was so down to earth and I loved that it was just like meeting with a friend. She asked the right questions and really listened to my needs were. Then, she came right in to my closet and purged - but, surprisingly, she retained a lot of what I already had and told me how we could now use it - what we needed to purchase to add to it (the minimums). She was teaching me my new style as we were going through this process - it wasn't at all like I imagined, just tossing out my old clothes. I loved learning how to "recycle" my old faves for the revised version of me :-). Then, I met her for my shopping spree - which, normally, I hate doing. But, wow - she made it so fun! I was amazed at how she was able to see things that would look good on me, but that would also be in my taste, even when I couldn't see it... AND she chose all things on sale - a bargain shopper after my own heart!! Then, she put together amazing outfits in my virtual closet online so I can access anytime - so cool that I now can go out and not feel uncomfortable. What a gem this girl is. Love this company and this girl. Will definitly be using them and Carrie again.

My experience working with Carrie could not have gone better. While I was looking to bring my wardrobe up a few notches, I still wanted to keep a relaxed and casual style. Therefore, it was very important to me to find a stylist who wouldn't try to make me over into someone I am not. Carrie really understood what I wanted and helped me transition into more pulled together, polished, but still casual outfits. She did a fantastic job finding pieces that pair together in a variety of ways, which was something I specifically asked for. I booked her Total Package, which included (among other things) a shopping excursion where all I had to do was show up at the appointed time and try on the things she had pre-selected. It was so easy, and the time flew by! Carrie selected many things that I would never have pulled for myself, but all of her selections were thoughtful and based on our conversations about my likes, dislikes, and needs. Carrie was honest in her feedback as I was trying things on, which I appreciated. She never made me feel pressured to like or buy anything, and showed me different ways to style pieces so they offered multiple wardrobe options. Ultimately, I found many more things I wanted to buy than I thought I would. And, in the process Carrie made me feel comfortable, confidant - and even pretty - in my new clothes. I have already referred her to a friend and am planning to use her excellent styling services again this winter. I couldn't be happier with Carrie's stylist services and can't wait to shop with her again!
