Vadim and his assistant were a pleasure to work with and did a great job installing some wall furniture for my kitty and a wall sconce that fell out of the wall after I put it up! They were very careful, considerate, a professional. I would hire them again. My cat loves her new perch!

Our dog chewed up a window sill (ugh) in our living room while we were out of town! I wasn’t sure if I could find someone to repair it and repaint it, but he did a wonderful job and it looks almost like new again. He was right on time and very responsive to my initial inquiry too. I’ll definitely call when we have other home repair jobs!

We were optimistic in hiring Vadzim to help with some projects in our home. In our communication before hiring him, he was very responsive which was great. When we inquired about his rate, we were told his rate is $60 per hour. He arrived on time and brought his son to help. Upon our initial conversation, we communicated we were looking for a handyman who could be given the tasks we needed help with and left to complete them without our presence in the home so we could have the freedom to complete other tasks while he was working. There was a language barrier and he had to use his son multiple times for communication which may have left things not clearly communicated. He made it seem like he preferred us to be present the whole time he was there. Even though he was hired to help with 1 project, he was very accommodating and took care of several other projects during our first appointment. Upon the end of our first appointment we were told his rate was going to be $20 more per hour because he brought his son to help which we accepted at that time due to the amount of projects he was able to complete during our first appointment. We discussed the next project to be done in some detail and scheduled another appointment for him to complete the project which was to hang 9 photos throughout our home. He arrived on time again and again brought his son which raised concern of a higher price tag than originally quoted. He spent 3.5 hours at our home to hang wall art that should've taken 2 hours maximum with 2 people. We received an invoice for $340. The details of the invoice showed he was charging for 4 hours of work when he left our home after 3.5 hours at a rate of $80 per hour ($20 more than the agreed upon rate) and charged $20 for nails/ screws to use to hang the 9 photos!!! Please be cautious when hiring this company and make sure you communicate extremely clearly what you are expecting before hiring Vadzim. He seemed very competent, but it was very clear in our second meeting that he likes to schedule clients for at least 4 hours at a time and really took his time during that second appointment to make sure that happened.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry that I did not clearly explain the cost of the work before the appointment. I brought a helper so the work could be completed faster and more carefully, so I calculated the labor at a rate of $80 per hour for two people. However, I acknowledge that I should have informed you of this rate in advance and received your approval before starting the work. The materials charge included mounting hardware, screws, and other supplies that I brought with me. Because I already had these materials, I did not have to spend billable time traveling to the store. Nevertheless, I should have explained this additional charge in advance as well. I never intentionally extend a job to increase the invoice. It is important to me that the work is completed carefully and securely. I appreciate the opportunity to help with the projects in your home, and I will take your feedback into consideration. Going forward, I will confirm the labor rate, helper cost, and materials in advance to avoid similar misunderstandings.
