First of all, we have a LOT of stuff. We didn't know just how much, but it was overwhelming for us. We are a family of four, two sisters caring for our mother who is very sick. The last few months have been a trying time, it's been so hard, we haven't had time to unpack. I heard about thumbtack, and found Heidi. Within a couple of days, she sent two of the most hardest workers, Marielle and Milene to help us out. They not only did not disappoint, but they worked tirelessly, with care to put mine and my mother's room together. If I had to do what they did for me, it would never have gotten done! When my mother comes home from the hospital, she will come home to a beautifully organized room! And what they did in my room was a MIRACLE!!!
As if that wasn't enough, my room was such a challenge that we ran out of time, and Heidi herself drove all the way from Concord to San Jose to help finish the job! That is unheard of!
If you choose HT Packing and Organizing, you will make the best decision if you want your mountain of chaos to become a peaceful home sweet home.
I will definitely call on her again for more organizing in the future, and highly recommend!

I hired Heidi to help me pack up my two bedroom apartment for a move, and she was the consummate professional. She checked in ahead of time to understand the scope of the work, went to U-Haul to pick up the necessary supplies (boxes, tape, and labels), and arrived promptly at my apartment as promised. She was efficient and meticulous, ensuring that all of my glassware was carefully wrapped and packed, that each room’s contents were grouped and labeled, and that the boxes were stable and strong for the movers to stack. Within 6 hours, the entire apartment was packed and ready to go, including things like my small appliances, vacuum cleaner, wine and alcohol, and electronics. All the while she was respectful and polite, self sufficient, and extremely thorough. I would HIGHLY recommend Heidi to help with packing and unpacking services!

Jana and Heidy are like real-life angels! Today, amidst the chaos of moving, I reached out for some last-minute help just to get settled in. Jana went beyond my expectations, tirelessly assisting for four hours. She helped transfer our belongings, organized the refrigerator, unpacked essentials, set up my bed, even washing the sheets! I was skeptical about hiring a provider through Thumbtack; my experience with packing and moving has been hit or miss. Anytime I hired someone that wasn't a big-named moving company, the results were very subpar and left me wishing I spent the additional money with a reputable name. Well, Heidy and George completely changed my outlook on hiring independent providers because my experience with them was absolutely fabulous! They arrived 5 minutes early - super punctual! - and got straight to work! With just a little bit of direction, they were able to hit the ground running getting everything organized and packed up QUICKLY!!! There was no lag or wasted time whatsoever. I've experienced movers "milking" the time by moving slower than what's realistically expected, but they moved at a high pace the ENTIRE time and limited their breaks. A 5-hour job and they didn't take lunch or anything! They handled my packing and when we're ready to load our container, I'm going to hire them again to handle the labor! Highly recommend them to anyone in need of quality, affordable packing and moving services!
