FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Well, I started dancing when I was 2 years old and I've choreographed all my own talent show Dance peaces in elementary school through high school. Once I started college in fall 2000, I realized not only dancing I love but putting together peaces for not just myself but groups of dancers as well. Now getting paid for it is a plus, because it shows I'm confident in what I can do and it doesn't feel like work!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I teach around 18 hours of dance classes a week to 17 students in each class. I as well do side jobs for the parents that need me to choreograph for their kids birthday parties or a competitive cheer team, so basically I've worked with all kinds of customers from 1st time parents to professional companies that need my services.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I was asked for the 2nd year in a row ti choreograph for Miss. Teenage California finals opening dance piece for the girls. I was referred by a client to choreograph for a Junior peewee competitive cheer squad. They had to learn my choreography in five practices and I nailed it and they did awesome at Nationals.
