A few weeks ago I came to a realization that my birthday was soon approaching, I wanted to give myself a gift.....the gift was to UnStuff my Life. I wanted to enjoy the last stage of life without anxiety after collecting 35 years of clutter. I wanted to be able to spend my days at home in a relaxed and carefree environment. I was overwhelmed with the job of uncluttering and faced the fact that I could not do this big job alone. I went to the Thumbtack website and did a search on home organizers. I received responses and did interviews over the phone. I was very impressed with the responses given to me by Deborah Smith so I felt that I did not need a face to face interview. My home is located about 50 minutes from her home so I was fearful that she would not accept the job. I held my breath until she made an appointment to assess and begin the task if we were a fit.....phew! Now I can relax. Deborah help me choose items to purge, sort and find new homes for those items. It can be very emotional for the homeowner to purge because of the memories associated with the item. Deborah taught me some little techniques to be able to let go. I equated her job to that of a psychologist where she analyzed, worked with my insecurity and made subtle suggestions when I was in a quandary about keeping or purging. She taught me to prioritize and to realize that it is the memory and not the item itself. We were able to work in harmony with each other so the process became much easier and pleasant. I know that I am not perfect, therefore, I plan to have Deborah revisit at times to help with a quick tune-up.
Thanks to thumbtack finally found the best home organizer , declutter and cleaning expert !! She brings in her own cleaning products , all environment friendly / green ... my kitchen looks like new !! After she cleaned the place it's easy for me now to maintain the kitchen . I highly recommend Fredy for any of your handyman needs. I hired him for a small drywall project but i could see he had many skills so I had him to numerous projects: wood floor sanding and staining, crown moulding and baseboard install, framing, wallpaper, plumbing, welding, tile repair, painting, furniture building, building a fence, and finish carpentry. I am probably missing some things! I worked with numerous other tradesman before I found Fredy on Thumbtack, and I found the quality and reliability of others slipped over time, but not Fredy! He continued to maintain a high level of customer service throughout the numerous projects. He always asks if I'm happy, and replies by saying "I'm not happy if you're not happy!" And I could tell he meant it. I also found his level of ethics to be very high and his pricing very fair. He is an upbeat personality which is also a pleasure to work with. The stress I was feeling about moving out of my Hollywood home was overwhelming. I needed someone that was going to hold my hand through the process. Jeanette Hildebrandt had a promising resume and positive outlook for my personal project-My home! She offered professional advice and a great plan for upgrading my home. She was very knowledgeable and had a very positive outlook for changing my existing home to the dream home that I desired. She had very high end experienced contractors which were checked out with their experience and knowledge as well as security so I would feel at ease during this project. She had up to date ideas many scenarios that formed my dream home. She promised and came through with top notch products with materials to die for. We used the very best paint, very classy wallcoverings and faux art samples and murals to my liking. I had preferred a baseball fantasy exposure to my home because that was my passion and Jeanette hit a home run with her classy choices for my project. The project for my home consisted of 7 room, two baths and an office. There was sheetrock in numerous rooms, finish painting, murals, sponging- multi-colors with saran wrap and rag rolling and the finish product was breath taking. The project was completed in the set time frame with perfection. I was totally pleased with the craftsmanship and the whole project was completed in a timely fashion and most reasonable expense. I would definitely hire her expertise again and refer her to anyone in need of any size project.
I hired Birdlace to do a real estate open house cleaning for me last year and they truly went above and beyond. Andrea, the owner, has an amazing crew who also specializes in event service,( so we hired them to bartend and serve at our events) and now they regularly come to clean my personal home, my daughter’s home and our offices. They are professional, multi talented, great communication and most of all the cleaning detail is amazing! I love the all natural products.
Elizabeth helped plan my daughter's 1-year birthday party. She organized all the vendors (food, cake, face painting, bartender) and handled the decorations. She was responsive and did a great job day-of setting up the decorations and making sure everything went smoothly. I was very happy with the entire event and would absolutely use her again in future.

Get It Done has been a lifesaver to me. Nicole and her team are just exceptional. She has done everything from cleaned out my linen closet to helping me with my late husbands things to clearing out my garage. And she does it from start to finish, including the organizing, purchasing of tubs, taking items to Good Will and more.
