Hi all! It's good to be back on Thumbtack!👋 I hope you are having a great day! 🌱🌞🌻 *** Please read all the way through before contacting me, if you have questions before committing to a service please call/text with a detailed message. *** contact my scheduler, Anna! *** 9three1.eight0two.4seven8eight *** ** If you would prefer traveling to me, I have a location between Edmondson and Nolensville pike. I travel about a 50-60 mile radius from nashville, no more than an hour for travel services with an added fee. ** My name is Julie Easterbrooks and I love being able to heal with my hands. That special moment of seeing my clients leave the table, feeling youthful and renewed, is one of the best rewards and part of why I love what I do. I am capable of executing all massage modalities and am very intuitive. I specialize in excellent Deep Tissue, Medical massage with energetic properties, without compromising the clients comfort. I believe that every client deserves the best massage, custom to their needs, no matter if they are the first client or the last client of the day. I am very serious about what I do and love a challenge. I have practiced massage and many aspects of energy healing on and off for 7 years while traveling the United States, before becoming a professional LMT. After realizing I should hone in on my skills, I went to school at the Oriental Healing Arts Center in Anchorage, Alaska and finished my certification at Miller-Motte T.C. in Clarksville, TN. I worked as a professional for over a year at a spa in Clarksville, and have had amazing results and reviews from my clients, family, and friends. Since leaving, I have moved to Nashville and travel the area as well as Clarksville, White House, Kingston Springs, and Smyrna, (just to name a few) to accomodate those who want the Power of Healing in their home, as opposed to going out into the stresses of the matrix to find it. As being an LMT is my title right meow, I am currently learning to become a Jin Shin Do practioner, a form of accupressure. With a desire to learn more, I have had thoughts of getting an education in Science in Health to become a Physical Therapist, though, since I do not want to leave the state at this point in my life, this has been put on hold. I must admit, my true passions fall in the eastern modalities of holistic healing, such as theraputic herbalism, tuina, nutrition for healing, Qi Gong, and many more. This journey will be a life long journey with an never ending practice. I love helping others and that satisfaction of knowing I have impacted a persons life in such a positive way, honestly, gives me purpose. I feel like this is a God given gift and I am so grateful to be able to share it with others. If you are interested in making an appointment with me, *please* send a message with an encrypticed contact number (e.g. like craigslist) and I will contact you to set a potential appointment. This is for serious inquiries only. Thank you for looking into me (and reading this far, I know it was a lot!). My mission is to help heal, share my heART, and bring alternative, (w)holistic health options to Nashville (surrounding areas) and Clarksville in an empowering, uplifting and positive way! I look forward to working with every one of you! 👊🏻<3<3 ☆ Complimentry hot towels for in call services. ☆ There are custom aromatherapy sessions that include allotted time to make your own custom blend to use during the session, as well as take home with you. You will have access to a cornucopia of essential oils that would love to be used by you! All necessary supplies provided, please contact for further questions. ☆ Hot stones are more than just adding a luxury feel to your massage. Hot stones are a great addition to deep tissue to help melt and reduce tension deep within the muscle, instead of just superficially. ☆ Assisted stretching, Thai Massage, and table thai modalities are available to those who feel they need more opening up in the joints and limbs. It is a great opportunity to allow yourself to focus on breath and allow yourself to let go as the therapist positions your stretch for you. ☆ Reflexology is included in all table massages, except for table thai. But if you would like more of a focus on hands (including forearms) and feet (including calves), this option is offered as well. ☆ Distal/Local accupressure is what I am allowed to call my Jin Shin Do since I am actively learning it to become a Practioner of the art. It holds points on 8 specific meridians that connect to the rest of the body. This is beneficial energetically, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. It helps open pathways as well as reconnects you with your body, (your body has a lot to tell you!). This has been amazing to learn and amazing to experience. I advocate this modality of accuPRESSURE over accuPUNCTURE any day, and is quite difficult to express in words. It is a body trance and is can be quite sensational depending on what your body is in need of.See more

Q & A

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

What is a boot camp class?

Fitness boot camps are a heart-pounding way to boost your fitness level. Boot camps are led by a fitness instructor and are based on the concept of military boot camps — intensive workout programs to get new recruits into shape, quickly. Fitness boot camps encourage camaraderie, and the group momentum helps participants get through fast-paced intervals of cardio, isometric training, strength training and endurance drills. Classes may range anywhere from 30 to 60 minutes, and usually meet multiple days per week. Boot camps often run a specific duration of time, say four to six weeks, which creates a team-like environment for class members. Other boot camps run year-round and students purchase package pricing for classes, similar to subscriptions that allow them a set amount of classes per week or per month.

Boot camps can be held indoors at a gym, outdoors in a park or on a beach, in a backyard — anywhere there’s room for running, jumping and sweating. Some instructors also provide DVD and online boot camps. You can also find boot camps tailored to your heart’s desire, such as bikini boot camp, or boot camps for new mothers. Boot camps offer an intense workout and are usually led by energetic instructors pushing you to do your best, but unlike military boot camp drill sergeants, fitness boot camp instructors typically don’t use intimidation or punishment to spur you on. Check with your doctor before starting a boot camp if you have health concerns, and always let your instructor know ahead of time if you have injuries.

How much is a boot camp?

The cost of fitness boot camps depends on how often you go, the package you are purchasing (or if you are paying a drop-in fee), the location of the bootcamp, the equipment the instructors provide, and the background and reputation of the instructor. Smaller towns and areas with a lower cost of living typically have lower rates for boot camp services than big cities and regions with a higher cost of living. If you’re paying per class on a drop-in basis, expect to pay anywhere from $12 to $25 or more, depending on the region and the instructor. When you purchase a package of classes, typically the more you buy at one time, the cheaper each class is. The same boot camp class might be $20 for a drop-in student, $15 for a student who pays for 10 classes per month, and $10 for a student who pays for 30 classes a month. Studio space can also affect costs, so if your boot camp takes place in a high-end gym with top-of-the-line equipment, the prices will likely be higher than a class that meets in an outdoor space with limited or no equipment. Shop around to find the right type of boot camp class and the right instructor for you.
