FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have trained with and continue to be mentored by some of the best trainers in the industry, including Sean O'Shea, Jeff Gellman, Tyler Muto, Duke Ferguson, and Nelson Hodges. I am always looking to expand my education. I attend as many gatherings and seminars as I can. I consider myself blessed to have a huge network of fellow trainers that I am able to exchange thoughts and ideas with.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I had a crazy dog that I couldn't control. After going through four trainers I became very interested in dog training because I knew that there had to be a way to tame the wild beast! ;)
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Finding a dog trainer is a personal thing. You will be spending time with this person and entrusting them with your dog's well being. You will not only want to look for someone who is reputable and trustworthy but also a personality that you get along with.
