Specific behaviors to address
Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I address what's actually causing the problem instead of focusing on the symptom of a bigger issue. I love the moment when the owner is finally able to connect the dots. That is a great turning point in the handler/dog relationship.

We have had Leah for 1 year she was very hyper we could not control her and after taking her to numerous obedience schools we found Stephanie. She took Leah for 2 weeks and kept us informed of her progress. We could not believe how well Leah does now. I would refer Stephanie to anybody. Thanks Stephanie

Absolutely the best choice. I have a 11 week old german shepherd who couldnt learn with 2 other trainers. Pure canine is the most helpful and is a real pleasure to work with. My dog is doing great and we can now share a mutually happy life. I did the 4 week course and in that short time we covered sit, down, place, leave it, drop it, repsect threshold, drop it and bark and quite on command, and create trainning. I will be signing up with her again for advanced training.

Stephanie was informative, effective, and was a pleasure to work with. She helped me set rules, boundaries, and limitations for my German Shepard puppy. Thanks Stephanie!

Stephanie is amazing , we adopted a rescue dog who was scared and timid and had confidence issues .. Stephanie not only worked on SAMs confidence and taught her skills to work on her anxiety , but helped us understand the dogs behavior as well . She is a life saver and the best !

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have trained with and continue to be mentored by some of the best trainers in the industry, including Sean O'Shea, Jeff Gellman, Tyler Muto, Duke Ferguson, and Nelson Hodges. I am always looking to expand my education. I attend as many gatherings and seminars as I can. I consider myself blessed to have a huge network of fellow trainers that I am able to exchange thoughts and ideas with.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I had a crazy dog that I couldn't control. After going through four trainers I became very interested in dog training because I knew that there had to be a way to tame the wild beast! ;)

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Finding a dog trainer is a personal thing. You will be spending time with this person and entrusting them with your dog's well being. You will not only want to look for someone who is reputable and trustworthy but also a personality that you get along with.
