- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing/Contract is not complicated at all. A monthly rate plus a one time consultant fee equals One final price, no hidden fees, no delivery charges. Staging has to be viewed as an investment and not a cost. What does the consultant fee include? The one time consulting fee to cover expenses of staging which includes: 1-8 hours: Design time. This includes pulling inventory, shopping if needed and packing everything. 6-20 hours: Prep time. 10-15 hours of delivery set up time, depending on size of the project. 3-10 hours destaging and returning inventory to ready for another staging. So as you can see, it takes a lot of time (average 62 hours) to pull a home staging project together. The following prices are average rental cost ranges based on a furnishing a vacant property per room. These costs are average monthly rental fees only. Living room $300 - $700 Dining room $150 - $600 Bedroom (with a queen size bed) $350 - $650 Office $125 - $400
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Consultation walk thru of property and a full proposal of staging for either full property or just a portion. Follow up with client as needed. Agree. Set up firm date and estimated time and get ready to be amazed!
