FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Illustration: $90 and up. Price is calculated according to the level of detail, number of hours, and preferred deadline. Payment is due IN FULL upon hiring unless otherwise agreed upon. This allows me to give your project all the time and attention it will need without taking in any other projects that might conflict with our timeline. Please allow a minimum of 6 weeks for illustrations of 10 or more. *All deadlines aside from rushes are subject to adjustments, and must allow for a minimum 1 week buffer. RUSH ORDERS and HARD DEADLINES: An additional fee will be included on the price in the presence of a rushed order (less than 3 weeks notice) and will not be subject to the buffer window listed above. The fee will be calculated according to the number of images required. CANCELLATION and REFUND POLICY: If you cancel the project after hiring, there will be no refunds after I have started working on your project. As much as I would like to offer a more flexible refund policy, your art is individual and unique and cannot be repurposed, reused, or recycled for other people, and my time is scheduled to allow for your specific needs. Please make sure you have read and understand my policy before hiring me. FINAL NOTE: When you hire an illustrator, you are paying for their time above all. Each image created can take upwards of 7 hours to complete, excluding edits. If you decide you do not like the style agreed upon, the illustrators you hire are skilled and willing enough to do the image again until it’s right. Not liking an image is not an excuse to not pay an artist who has dedicated hours and weeks to making something they hope will make you happy.
