I hired Mimi for my 40th birthday party and could not be more pleased with the result. We were planning a party for 100 guests (not an easy task to wow that many people) and Mimi knocked it out of the park! I shared my Pinterest board with her and what colors I had envisioned and Mimi designed a party that amazed everyone including people passing by. You could see the decorations from the street - that's how much it came to life. Mimi made my "mad" party of going down the rabbit hole a reality. She delivered on her promise of throwing me a one-of-a kind and memorable event. It was the perfect way to celebrate this milestone. I shared my vision with her for having a Mad Hatter themed party and she brought it to life. Mimi brought ideas to the table that I hadn't even considered and it was amazing. From the minute you walked in, guests were "wow'd" (which is what Mimi told me would happen) and throughout the venue details were incorporated into the decor and food. It was exactly what I wanted and more! Mimi was great to communicate with over email, phone and in person. Kelly from LeLe Floral is absolutely, absolutely amazing! I found her on Thumbtack and boy was I lucky to book her as my florist! She was prompt with her responses, answered my questions and best of all was willing to work with my tight budget. She kept in contact with me leading up to the wedding and throughout the process. I ended up adding a few more items to the contract about a month before the wedding and she more than accommodated. 2 days before the wedding, she was contacting me to make sure we were set up. And the day of the wedding.... was magical! I met Kelly while she was setting up the floral center pieces, and they were absolutely amazing. My bouquet and my bridesmaids bouquets were gorgeous. She had forgotten the two hand corsages for the moms, until I asked her about them (wait, don't freak out yet...). I wasn't too worried, as she had ended up decorating my head table and cake table and giving my groom a boutonnière (like I said she's amazing!!). One second she disappears and the next, she somehow scrambled to make 2 beautiful hand corsages and even delivered them to the moms BEFORE the ceremony even started! Weddings are extremely expensive. I was pretty restrictive with my budget and almost decided against flowers completely... That is until I found Kelly. I don't regret hiring her as my florist. I only wish I could work with her more haha! Kelly went above and beyond what she needed to do. She really tied in everything with the wedding from the bouquets to the center pieces and the decorations. She's hardworking, detail oriented and prompt. I initially hired NK from Paradise Parkway just for Day of Event Coordination services but when my venue cancelled on me exactly 45 days before my wedding day, she rose to the occasion and became the partial event planner and essentially my savior for my last minute wedding crisis! NK was creative, thorough, supportive, had my vision and best interest in mind throughout the entire planning process. There was one meeting when NK, the DJ/Lighting staff and venue manager were excitedly throwing out ideas about the space design and NK observed how quiet I was, she made sure to stop the chatter and check in with me to see if what was being discussed was matching to my vision. I truly appreciated this act as I tend to be quiet and pensive when a lot of things are going on. It was great I had an advocate for me! NK was also instrumental with making my venue space elegant and beautiful! When my first reaction to the venue cancellation was to find just a random hall to hold my event, NK highly encouraged me to look at the Sacramento Convention Center meeting room space, noting it had great potential. Im so glad that I did! With her creative eye and floral design background she helped turn the boring meeting rooms into and elegant and beautiful event space! She helped get a champagne colored draping where my fiancé and Is initial monogram was lit, she created a combination of centerpieces that included manzanita branches with crystals, fresh floral arrangements and medium/tall candles that made my guests tables look amazing! She also arranged floating candle vases and incorporated some of my nick-knacks and engagement photos for the Welcome and name card tables. She also went above and beyond when created leftover flowers into beautiful flower arrangements for my sweetheart table when she noticed it was looking bare, also added fresh flowers to my wedding cake! During the event, NK checked in with me and my bridal party often, ensuring we were on time and that little things were taken care of (i.e. informing me what catering staff were saying about drinks supplies, my 2 yr old nephew also poked my wedding cake so she turned it around so other guests dont see, haha!) My wedding reception turned out more beautiful and lavish than my first venue space! I had so many compliments from guests about the décor! NK is professional, competent, creative, detail-oriented, warm, kind and supportive! Not to mention, her services are so affordable compared to other event planning and design business! NK was a God send! She helped create my event timeline, facilitated communication among my vendors and checked in with me often during the weeks/days leading up to the wedding. What would have been a wedding reception disaster, turned into an amazing beautiful event thanks to NK! I highly recommend her for your event coordination/planning and design services!
What a pleasure it was to work with Juanita and the crew. They were so helpful and accommodating for a backyard birthday party. I cannot express how nice it was for me to enjoy the party (my birthday). I had the privilege of having Kindra as my event planner for my daughter’s Sweet 16 Birthday party. Let me tell you this was the easiest party I ever had. I work two jobs so my schedule is all over the place with limited time to plan a party when I say I did nothing other than pay for the party that’s exactly what happen... She kept in contact with my daughter to make sure she captured her vision and everything came out wonderful... I will defiantly be using her again in the future and will recommend her to others

I design and build party props from waste materials to keep low-cost, most-beautiful designs. As an example, I was hired to do a 4th of July party on this flat rooftop type of balcony with my own creations. It was an open design, and they trusted my taste. I got these old molds for cement columns made out of cardboard, shaped tubular the thin ones -- 12" in diameter, 8' tall, some 5" in diameter, and 6' tall -- and wrapped them with a glittery Christmas wrapping paper, and out of the top, I made sparkler fire fountains out of the wire and glitter. I was awesome and made them look like firecrackers going off, placed throughout the floor. I used the optic tubes from an optic Christmas tree and made a table decoration for the food table, and the rest was decorated in black cloths and bright-blue trims around the dance floor with lighting. It was a wonderful party, and it was all made out of scraps and waste. It costs $600.00 for all -- design, setup, and take-down. It is a most-quality design for such a low price; it can always be done this way.
