Job involved re-grading an existing paver patio and building new set of outdoor stairs. Rodney (and sons) arrived on date promised and on time. They communicated with me throughout the project, were creative problem solvers, and finished on schedule. Job was done well and worksite was clean when they left. I'd definitely hire them again.
I had Marlon install a concrete patio in my backyard, and extend the side walkway both length and width. The process was easy, affordable and quick. Marlon's bid was very reasonable and when was on time for the appointment. I would not hesitate to hire Marlon for other projects and would recommend his work. I love my new patio.
I hired Mountain Top to take down a 25' high interior brick wall, and a smaller brick fireplace suround. Steve is an experienced mason and knows exactly the best way to take apart the wall without damaging the house. Steve and his crew were extremly careful with our house and did a super clean-up of the area. In fact, he even mopped the floors! I intend to use Mountain Top for additional work.
Did a very nice job on our kitchen countertops and tile backsplash.
We hired Daniel to remove some windows and install French doors in their place. This did not seem like an easy job with the fact our home was built in 1893 and he was basically cutting a hole in the side of the house. Gonzales construction made it look easy! His team worked with skill and efficiency and did the job without issue. They also installed a redwood deck to bring us through the doors and onto a newly constructed stone patio. The result was worthy of 5 stars! Thanks Daniel!
Excellent! Darwin communicates well with where he is at with the project, pricing and projected finish time. His work is great and as a real estate professional will recommend him to friends and clients. His prices are reasonable and he uses quality products. Darwin did interior painting, replaced baseboard which included staining and cutting it to fit in a home that has rounded walls, and painted an outside deck. We will absolutely use his services again as needed.
Omni Sprinkler Service and Landscaping completed an extensive landscaping project which included sprinkler installation, concrete sidewalk and patio construction, sod installation, and hardscape work. In putting together the estimate, David Cohen listened carefully to my needs and developed a plan to meet my budget and requirements. He provided a drawing of the finished landscape and a detailed quote with the scope work to be done and materials proposed. When the work began, the Omni crew showed up on time, worked full days, and did a great job cleaning up at the end of the project. They answered all my questions during the project and explained what they were doing and why. Since the work was completed at the end of the season, they extended the sod warranty and included the spring sprinkler system start up with the job. The yard looks great and will serve us well for years to come.
Mel and his crew did a great job with our backyard brick patio repair. They were available quickly and very fair with rates. I would use Mel again.
I have used Michael Rodriguez's Belle Creek Handyman multiple times. He and his crew have: laid a brick patio and walkway, built flower beds, installed sinks with hardware, fixed a toilet; and tended to outdoor lights for me. Michael is very personable and conscientious. He consulted me every step of the way, called to be sure everything had been done to my satisfaction and was always pleasant and hard-working. It is obvious that customer satisfaction and completing a job well are priorities for him. Members of his crew were always very easy to work with and eager to please.
Mr Greenthumb installed a flagstone patio. They did an INCREDIBLE job. It looks absolutely gorgeous!! They were punctual and cleaned up after themselves. I would definitely! hire them again!!!
Yakima Construction installed a wall and sliding door for me. They also built a storage/closet area in my garage. They were very professional and extremely clean. They finished the whole project in a very timely manor. I am very impressed and will definitely use them again.
We had a small job done by Kelly Abramson on our front porch. The work involved reattaching brick work along the face of the porch area. Kelly called the day before the scheduled work day to confirm the time, and he arrived on time ready to complete the project as scheduled. We also asked for a bid to put brick around our back porch, which we may schedule next spring with Kelly.
I hired Sean Comer at 1016 Masonry to repair brickwork in the front of my home and also to repair cracked concrete in a couple of areas. He and his assistant did an excellent job and were very thorough. They also cleaned up the entire area to my satisfaction when they were finished. I would definitely recommend Sean to anyone who is in need of masonry/concrete repairs.
I found Bob with Arbor Landscape from the Thumbtack website. I selected him after interviewing and receiving bids from him and several other landscape specialists. His bid was very reasonable, especially compared to some of the others. We had just completely remodeled our house and needed a complete redo of our entire yard. This included grading, a sprinkling system, new sod, planter beds, over 40 shrubs and flowers, low level lighting and edging. Bob also arranged to have a large paver stone patio installed as well as a fence and a pergola. Everything turned out absolutely amazing. Bob listened to us. Took the time to find out exactly what we wanted and made it happen. Every time an issue came up, Bob went above and beyond to resolve it. A couple of plants didn't make the transition and Bob replaced them right away. He was always on time (early most of the time), and the entire neighborhood raves about our landscaping. I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out.
We hired Stucco and Stone Masons, via Thumbtack. They had good recommendations, were very prompt in their response, came to our home for a quote within 2 days, and could start right away. Work included: 1) Floor leveling (our floors were very uneven!) 2) Tile installation 1100 sq. ft (12X12 travertine squares, arabesque travertine tile, 3X5ft subway tile shower + mosaic travertine shower floor tiles) 3) Plaster wall repair in our basement (7 exterior walls) To give you an idea of the VALUE this company brought to our renovation: We had received four quotes JUST for the tile installation that were between $13,000-$15,000, which did *not* include floor leveling or plaster wall repairs! These companies/individuals were booked for months in advance and their turnaround for completion would have been 4-6 weeks. This would have severely delayed our project. Filiberto (goes by Beto) and his two sons were very friendly and honest. They quoted us $8,000 for #1-3 work above, and said they would be finished within 3 weeks. They WOULD have been finished before that 3-week timeframe had we not miscalculated the amount of tile they would need for the bathroom floor. They were very understanding of our mistake and returned as soon as the rest of the tile arrived to finish the project. Beto’s crew of four men arrived every day around 9am, and worked around the clock - even SATURDAYS! They were extremely courteous, professional and hard working. Some days they did not leave until 8pm! I have never met such a dedicated, hard-working group of people!! If we had questions/concerns, they were very open to resolving the matter quickly. We are incredibly pleased with their work. Our basement looks AMAZING!! The sand colored tile and the plaster wall repairs has really brightened the space. We are planning to hire them again to repave our driveway and front sidewalk/steps in the spring. We hope you consider them for your future concrete, plaster and or tile projects!
From start to finish, the Denco crew exhibited utmost professionalism. Ro was a very good communicator about every aspect of the project, from initial quote to adjustments we decided to make mid-project to final inspection. The crew showed up on time every day and were very courteous and professional. The demolition of my old deck was performed with no damage, and everything was cleaned up from the yard. The new deck is a wood/composite hybrid and met our needs for form, function and budget. In addition to the main deck, they also sanded and stained a small balcony, as well as replacing the wood pickets with pipe pickets to match the back deck. They also moved the railing to remove a climbing safety hazard for children and pets. Ro also coordinated with the company that is installing a paver patio after the deck was completed so the specifications for the deck supports would be at the level needed for the grading of the patio. I have worked with MANY contractors on various projects and can honestly say that the Denco crew have been the BEST to work with on every aspect of the project. The finished project is beautiful and it is apparent that quality workmanship and customer service are part of the Denco mission. I highly recommend them for your decking project and can provide a reference via phone if needed.
I have used Advantage Construction twice now to redo patios on two different homes. They provide excellent service and quality construction. Jim's color recommendation for my stone pavers was spot on. The patios are beautiful.
I just had my deck , patio slab, and sliding patio doors project done through Red Earth Construction. Family team of Jim, Jason, and Jim Sr. I would use them again. I'm very cautious of who I would use as I have terrible experiences working with contractors in the past, losing money and having uncompleted poor projects.. Each time I have learned what not to do, but having met Jim who I went through the process was great. You get a sense of trust and confidence working with him. I had a budget and I did get other quotes but they came in with the best quote including with the 2 patio doors (custom done through Sunrise). The deck and patio slab took a full week to get done, and sliding doors were put in after. All of their crews that did the specific projects did a beautiful job, I was most impressed with Jerry their window/door installer. They did and great job retro fitting the beautiful sliding patio doors with the blinds . Meticulous on housekeeping , and detail . I will go through Red Earth Construction again on different home projects that can do. The family are all great, professional and easy to work with.
We're now a year and a half in to using our patio and we love it. The sloping was pretty complicated, and I am happy to say that it sheds water really well away from structures on three sides. My chief complaints were mispoured concrete such that our steps are uneven depths and heights -- instead of tearing out the mispoured concrete from the subcontractor that they hired the Down to Earth team went ahead and hardscaped over, resulting in several obvious filler spacers and the uneven risers. The team had also forgotten to account for stair materials so we had a cost overage in excess of 10% which was a bit of a bummer. Toward the end of the project it was clear that they wanted to move on to other things, so getting them to wrap up sealing was tough. Overall we were pleased, but this company hasn't become our "go to" for future landscaping projects.
Nick and his crew did an outstanding job with the installation of our back yard flag stone patio. From the bidding process, thru the installation he was very easy to work with. The design changes that I requested on the patio screening he adapted materials to fit those changes. He also built a retaining wall on the north side of our property facing the street. The quality of the work is beautiful.
There are lots of good contractors. My firm is one of them. We stand out above others because we have great craftsmen to complete the project on time and correct.
