Great food! Kim was very flexible in working with us to create a menu that would pair perfectly with our KY Derby event. People literally could not stop talking about how delicious the bourbon-glazed meatballs were! Also, easy to work with and very communicative about how to keep the food fresh and at its best for when the guests arrived (our event was a drop-off catering event). Would definitely use again for another event!

I found Nancy on Thumbtack a few days before our event, after our caterer stopped returning our phone calls. Nancy was very easy to work with, very prompt in response times and flexible in what we were looking for. It was a HUGE relief finding Nancy so close to the event! On the day of the event her staff showed up on time, (again) were flexible with what we were looking for and they had GREAT attitudes. The food was fantastic, and we were more than happy to give out our caterers information to anyone who asked. I would highly recommend Sparrow Kitchen to anyone looking for a professional, delicious, and easy to work with caterer.

I hired Karen for my wedding and she absolutely exceeded my expectations. I met with her at a coffee shop and we immediately hit it off. She was able to capture my vision and put it into words. She brought magazines with flowers and I would describe a look and she would find the picture to give me a visual. Not only did she create beautiful arrangements, she helped me with some planning, organizing and room placement. She very evidently loves what she does and her honesty and genuineness were what I admired most. I gave her have a lot of freedom in her arrangements and she did not disappoint. Karen is a true artist in her field.

I would highly recommend these guys for any events. They were on top of everything! Took all the stress off of me. Marc's experience also saved the day- without his suggestions I would have been screwed. He knew the amounts and the right equipment needed for the crowd size - I would have been way off. I'm gonna recommend him to our corporate office as well!

Modern Edge provided everything we needed and much more! Karen was extremely helpful on the business and planning end of things, and working tirelessly with us through some unexpected snags in approval and payment. You couldn't ask for a more friendly or helpful contact. Michael is an amazing chef - the food was TOP notch - and he spent time helping and serving our guests and thoroughly cleaned and organized everything the event. Mary and her team did an excellent job planning our corporate open house. We had around 250 people in attendance and everyone enjoyed the party. From the first meeting with Mary, she was able to identify exactly what we were looking for and she implemented a plan immediately. She handled every step of the process including rentals, catering, bartending, and music. I strongly recommend Mary's Magical Moments.

I was thinking about having a girls night out for my birthday and didn't know where to start. I heard of Events by Anna through a friend and figured I would check it out. Right from the start I got a good feeling Anna knew what she was doing. I only said I wanted to have a nice party and she threw out several ideas and they all sounded like winners. Her rates were reasonable and she worked with me throughout the entire planning phase and even checked with me a couple days after the event was over to ensure I was satisfied. I cannot recommend Britainy enough. She was extremely professional, had great advice, kept my wedding moving in the right direction, consistently available, and she did it all while pregnant. She helped to coordinate my vendors, took tips to dispense, and helped to keep track of invoices. If you are looking for an event planner, I would suggest hiring Britainy immediately! She was by far the best decision I made for my wedding and we would have been lost without her!

By coincidence, I just happened to have attended 2 parties coordinated by In The Event and Elyse Boule. Both parties were PHENOMENAL! What made them so special? The attention to detail with the planning, the food, the drinks, the decor, the entertainment and the overall vibe. Elyse truly has a knack for understanding what the client loves, what they don't love, and how to make it a memorable experience. The first party was an outdoor graduation party at a private residence (~60 people); the second was an indoor Kentucky Derby Party at a private residence (~30 people). First, the person being honored at the outdoor graduation party loves Cajun food so Elyse arranged for a New Orleans Food Truck to serve up New Orleans cuisine for all the guests right on location (absolutely delicious AND smart - no kitchen clean-up for the host!). She worked with the food truck to design a menu that was adult and kid-friendly. She obtained all the necessary permits for a food truck to stay parked in the neighborhood. She hired a bartender who specializes in making southern-style cocktails (also delicious and smart - no one had to serve themselves). Not only did she arrange the food truck and bartender, she also found a New Orleans-style jazz band to provide entertainment for all the guests. It was a blast! I truly felt like I was on Bourbon Street that night! She mastered the New Orleans theme, just what the client wanted. It was perfect, despite a freak rain storm. Of course, she planned for that too and had already had a tent and heaters out. I did not expect this at a house party. I was expecting a sandwich tray-white sheet cake and balloons graduation party snooze-fest. NOT A CHANCE! Everyone had a blast, no one batted an eye despite the short burst of bad weather and all the guests, including the band, kept on rockin'. The second party was a Kentucky Derby party (indoor). She coordinated a "Best Derby Hat" contest for the ladies and kids, and provided cute prizes for the winners. The food was all Kentucky-inspired, as were the drinks. Each drink glass (in mason jars - perfect!) were labeled with a horse's number so that drinks wouldn't get mixed up. Similar to the first party I attended, it was so clear that this girl pays close attention to the clients' needs/wants and her attention to detail is impeccable. (I hear that she will be planning a wedding for a client soon, and I want to go just for the party even thought I don't know the bride and groom.) There is no doubt in my mind who I will use when I throw my next party, whether it's big or small. I am so glad I found her - you will too!!! Thank you In The Event and Elyse!!! You make parties truly unforgettable.
