I could only say great things... I'm not a huge make up person and my wedding was on 4/29. Obviously you make an exception and you put on a face in order to look beautiful that day. Not only did I look but I felt Beautiful. Margie not only took care of me but most of my bridal party and everybody looked amazing that day especially my young kids. It was a very natural make up look. Margie gave awesome advice at our makeup trial a couple weeks before about exfoliation and moisturizing, doing some prep work before that big day (i waxed to help get the fine baby hair outta the way). She knew what she was talking about. And she methodically started painting my face.

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I make sure the skin is in good shape, find the correct foundation color, then set the foundation...do brows, eye color, bronzer, cheek color...line lips, lashes, and at last, lashes.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I'm self taught. I was always a make up artist, but didn't know it...I went to Chistine Valmy make up in NYC for a certificate, and fell into the hands of a photographer, and my career started. I was doing photoshoots for Women's World magazine and other magazines. It was wonderful training. Also, I opened up a Laura Mercier counter in Sak's Fifth Avenue as a make up artist.
