Tom Letts is an incredible spiritual director. His teaching is accessible for first-time spiritual direction and deeply formative for long-time spiritual pilgrims. Tom is very well read and possesses years of formal education and experience in ministry and spiritual direction. Yet, his formal education does not stunt his ability to connect with people of diverse backgrounds. Tom is aware of the fullness of the present moment. This attitude of awareness manifests through Tom's passion for his directees' personal, spiritual growth. Tom cares about people in a way that I have never experienced before. If you have the privilege of sitting under his direction, your eyes will be opened to the realities of love, truth, peace, and redemption, which reside, unnoticed, in everyday life. I strongly recommend making space in your life for time with Tom Letts. You won't know if you should be furiously writing down everything he says or just sitting back to enjoy his company. But, you will be better off because of it, either way.
We hired Vee to motivate and train our teenage son who has mild autism. Not only is Vee an expert in personal training, but his kindness, patience and infectious personality has transformed my son's attitude about exercise. He's helping my son gain much needed self-esteem and has been a real mentor and friend to him!
Justin is a well qualified and highly knowledgeable trainer with a great personality to match. Sessions are whatever you want them to be, but he also doesn't let you out of stuff if you're too tired, and always has a plan and structure throughout each session. I get he workouts written out for me to take home and reference for workouts later; he writes the exercises down as we go. This guy will push you because he believes in you. His passion for what he does is blatant, exciting and clear and I look forward to vibing with him every time we get to work together. Daria is a truly awesome personal trainer. She has kicked my butt (while also making sure I'm not hurting myself) at every session, which is exactly what I needed. With no prior weightlifting experience, she has gone out of her way to make sure I understand which muscles I'm working. She also makes a weekly calendar for her clients so you have some idea of the type of workouts you should be performing while you're not working out with her. She also proceeds insight into any nutrition questions that you may have. I would highly recommend her.
Jerome is an exceptional health coach and personal trainer. My experiences with him have been nothing short of fantastic. He clearly is very well educated about health and fitness. He makes workouts exciting while also taking the care and time to inform you about the proper technique and body maintenance required to improve one's fitness. Jerome really brings an incredibly positive and energetic approach to workout sessions. He has skill in both personal, and group sessions, being able to go from one to the other without missing a beat. Gita has been different from anything that I could have expected from coaching. She really digs deep into past experiences, including work and experiences in life outside of work. I trained with Jason for approximately 2 years before he moved to LA. Jason is a dedicated and motivated professional that provided me with an excellent personal training experience with results. He is very skilled and knowlegable about fitness and nutrition. He can create a program for anyone of any age and at any fitness level. I would highly recommend him.
I highly recommend WillPower Fitness. I contacted WillPower Fitness to find a personal trainer, and found credible trainers with comprehensive personal training programs to help me to reach my goals. (exactly as it's advertised) How I see the gym environment: It's a great, welcoming community with music playing, natural light, and trainers coaching members through sets and reps. You can hear encouragement to members on that last rep, telling them they can do it. They have the variety of equipment, activity, and resources you need. The trainers are somehow attentive to the entire gym, keep everyone busy, communicate well, and have the knowledge I wish I had about the body and its needs...from weight-loss to elite athlete programs. How it started for me: I came to my first session with defined fitness goals and a lot of my printouts from previous 'training programs.' That first day we jumped right into a training session, and I assumed it was to evaluate my fitness level. A few days later, I found out that my trainer actually read those grids from past trainers -- I was impressed he cared. He explained the target muscle groups of my previous program versus how the body works and the strength I need to build. When I competed in the past I never felt fit in the right way, and paired with this logical justification, it made sense that my training needed an adjustment. My updated program focuses on finding maximum efficiency and developing the muscles needed to perform intervals over a long period of time. Plus, building strength in the right way to support joints and mobility, which I assume helps me avoid injury. It is definitely worth it.
Joshua is fantastic! He really takes the time to assess you, your needs, strengths and weakness to formulate a plan to get you where you want to be. He challenges you in a comfortable environment and gives you homework to do on off days. I would highly recommend Joshua for all of your personal training needs!

I first heard about Stephanie and her nutrition practice through my personal trainer. I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease a year ago, and was having problems figuring out what to eat, and how to heal my gut and intestines. I called Stephanie that same day, leaving a voicemail and she returned my call within the hour. She understood my health issues and gave me hope, so I signed up for a 3-month program. Over the course of our 6 sessions, she gave me insight in to how my body works, and how food can be used to heal my gut, boost my immunity, and help me reach my fitness goals. In less than 4 months, my body has started to heal, my gut is much better, I know what I can and cannot eat in regards to the 'type' of gut I have, and I have the knowledge to continue healing myself and managing my Celiac Disease. I cannot recommend Stephanie enough for anyone who is struggling with eating, digestion, mood disorders, or weight issues. She is always compassionate, kind, thoughtful,and thourough. She follows-up within 24 hours after the sessions. It's a lot to remember but she always puts everything in writing with easy-to-follow instructions. My only regret is that I didn't find out about her sooner!

This guy is amazing! I had been entertaining the thought of hiring a personal trainer for sometime, however I was extremely skeptical. I met with BJ and discussed what my options were and what I wanted to accomplish. I had a really good feeling about hiring him as my personal trainer. After our first workout, I knew I made the right choice! It is obvious he has a passion for what he does and sincerely cares about your safety and progress. With his guidance I will be able to achieve new goals I have set for myself and change my life for the better. This guy makes you feel like family. With BJ's help, I now work out regularly, eat healthy and feel like a million dollars after each session. He's has a full workout gym in his garage so there are absolutely no distractions or having to wait for a machine. It's just you and him focusing on safety and form, achieving the goals you set. Nancy has proven to be a valuable support to my eleven year old son as he tries to build a relationship with a father he has seen very little of. She has this fantastic ability to listen, and actually hear, a child's words BEFORE filtering them through to her adult opinion. The result of that is my son knowing he is being heard and guided by an ally through the emotional struggle, learning to take control of it, and gaining the confidence to be true to himself and honest with his father. I am incredibly grateful we've found her to help us through this.

I have been working out with Brad for about 8 months. MY daughter had suggested that I go with her. After the first class i was thinking i would not make it past a month - then I began to see immediate results loosing weight and gaining strength. I have lost over 27 pounds and feel like a new person. My friends are stunned at the difference- and so am I when I see the pictures Brad posted. At 60, I have some specific aches and weaknesses; and Brad is really awesome at focusing in on my specific needs. He is tough when he needs to be and accommodating when you need that. I like his combined approach with a focus on food logs and exercise. If you follow his coaching, you can't be more than satisfied. I am !
I learned so much having her as my health coach! I learned how to respect my body and actually care about continuing my road to a healthier lifestyle. It has been almost a year since the end of our sessions, and I still have the curiosity of how my life can be improved by healthier living that was instilled in me during our sessions. I also have the knowledge and determination to act on that curiosity, and I believe I would not have any of that if not for Drishti Holistic Health.
