Jerimiah is a well prepared teacher that made my child feel very comfortable from day one and he is always very cheerful and my child is always looking forward to her next piano lesson.
Melody was great to work with. She responded quickly to my emails, kept me informed about any changes and was very understanding when I needed to change our plans. From my experience, the company seems well-managed, organized and friendly. I love the idea of music lessons in our home and would recommend this company to anyone.
My son has been taking violin and viola lessons with Laura for 5 years. Our experience has been fantastic. Laura is easy to talk to and work with. She tailors her class to the needs and abilities of the student and is clear on her expectations. I recommend Laura in a heartbeat.
Before May, I had never picked up a violin. Now, I’ve had a few lessons with Alex, and I am beyond impressed. He is very encouraging and patient with me. I’m an adult trying to learn the basics of playing violin before I head off to college, and I’m glad I chose to take lessons from him. I like his approach of practicing different variations to rhythms and style for certain songs and scales. It’s something I would’ve never though to do on my own, and it has helped me improve while practicing the violin and my music theory. I would recommend him any day to anyone.
Not only is Joe an incredibly talented and inspiring performer, he is also a very engaging and effective teacher. I have 2 kids--a 12 year old daughter who plays violin and viola and a 10 year old son who plays cello. Both kids love fiddle tunes and I asked Joe if he could give them a few fiddle lessons over the summer to supplement their regular strings lessons. He agreed enthusiastically and we scheduled 4 lessons over a 2 week period. The kids loved him from the beginning and I was amazed at what they learned in just 1 lesson. The first thing he did was chat with the kids for a few minutes to find out what kind of music they like, what their musical goals were, and just get to know them a little. The 3 subsequent lessons were every bit as good. He worked with both kids at the same time, an hour each lesson. He helped them with improvisation, bowing technique, arrangement, melody, and chords, among other things. By the end of the 4th lesson, they had learned how to take a simple tune, create a musical intro and arrange the piece, trading off melody with accompaniment (chords, chops, etc.) They performed the arrangement for me and I was blown away with all they had learned. They had nothing but good things to say about their experience with Joe. Unfortunately for us, Joe now lives in Colorado, so we'll have to wait until next summer for more of his amazing teaching. But, his teaching had such an impact on my kids, it will carry them through! Thanks, Joe!
As a violin student of Michelle's for over two years, I am very pleased and happy with the work that we've done. I've learned so much and I love the energy that Michelle puts into her teaching. As a student and a musician, I find that her teaching is excellent and I have come a long way since I first picked up a violin and started taking lessons. Michelle is incredibly nice and friendly, which creates a very comfortable and welcoming environment to each lesson. I immensely enjoy being a student of Michelle's and I would definitely recommend her as a teacher to anyone considering taking violin lessons.
I have a more full review on http://denverviolinlessons.com/reviews. I am an adult learner who also took my son to Anton for violin lessons, and I'm very happy with the experience. He's professional, has great technical teaching ability, attention to detail, and understands the pathways to really building a solid foundation on the violin. Highly recommend if you are looking for personalized instruction from a solid virtuoso.
My son runs down the stairs when John comes to our home for violin lessons! He took the extra time to get to know my son and connect with his music therapist as he is special needs 😀
Being an adult beginner to a musical instrument (violin), I am a novice when it comes to reading music and holding the instrument correctly. Nyla was very thorough, patient, and offered a lot of praise during our first lesson. She has a wonderful personality, and is a great teacher. I look forward to taking many more lessons with her!
My 11 year old has been taking violin lessons from Savannah in our home. She has done an excellent job motivating my daughter to play more and she engages her with music from musicals and shows she likes. I would highly recommend.
My experience with the Alexandra Eddy Project as been a great experience overall. I have been taking violin lessons from various teachers for over two decades and have found Dr. Alexandra Eddy to be extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of violin performance as well as music theory and history. Her teaching style is not intimidating, but professional and encouraging and I have been able to make many advances in the art because of her excellent instruction. I highly recommend looking into violin lessons with the Alexandra Eddy Project if you are interested in learning or continuing with the instrument!
My daughter has been taking lessons for little over a year and she loves Ms. Nicole. She is very patient and moves at a pace appropriate for the student. My daughter really enjoys the characters and songs she uses in her lessons. I would definitely recommend Nicole.
All great, definitely a go to pro to learn violin
It was great... much better than I was expecting. I like the fact it was private because I felt uninhibited and much less self-conscious. I'm looking forward to future sessions.
My 9 year old says, "She's awesome. She will help you if you are stuck." I say that Ava is always on time and very accommodating. We have had to change our schedule a few times, but we have always found a way to make lesson time work. Thank you!
I appreciate her coming to the house! It lessens stress. April is calm and patient with my son!
Kelly Benson was so helpful and friendly, and always replied courteously and promptly. She is very professional, and I hope to start lessons with her soon!
Vi Wickam is an exceptional and versatile musician. He is a rare musician who is equally at home in a tuxedo playing for an elite soiree or in blue jeans playing in a bluegrass jam. Last summer I contracted Vi Wickam to perform for 200 guests at the Opera Fort Collins "Songs in Summer" garden party at the Hixon home. As a strolling violinist he played everything from classical violin melodies to old time and Celtic fiddle tunes. Vi is also the founder and first violinist with the Fort Collins String Quartet. His traditional music includes guest appearance with bluegrass and old time music bands and recordings. He is also releasing a much anticipated solo CD this Spring! I highly recommend Vi The Fiddler for any event. He is reliable, courteous, and professional. Quality matters!
I work with students in a private or small group setting. I am a teacher with over 20 years of teaching experience.

I absolutely love working with my students! I welcome students of all types, from complete beginners, to those picking up the violin again after a long time, to advanced players with many years of experience. Lessons are fun! There are lots of laughing, a little witty banter, and the occasional special moment when we get the harmonies right. Whether you've always imagined playing a few Bach minuets for your own fun in the evenings, you just need a little help in your musical journey, or you want to join next year's fiddle contest, we can get you started.
