Introduction: The Block is a Dance Studio / community center that provides a home for people of all ages and backgrounds. A place where kids can go to study, relax, hang out with friends, and build their leadership skills through dance. A place where dancers, artists, and community members can utilize one of the nicest dance floors in Colorado for a creative endeavor of their choosing. A place where the purpose is community. We Love dancing and sharing dance with everyone who is interested!

Just a place to be. It's probably the best hangout spot I've been to and the floor is quality. The place has a great atmosphere whether you're a dancer or not. The staff also helps, because they're nicer than most people in Boulder, and that's saying something.

Excellent place to learn to dance. There are many styles to learn and develop your technique from amazing teachers. There is open training sometimes after classes and it's the best floor I have ever trained on! The floors are laser leveled elevated, sprung hardwood which means it's better for your knees (especially for bboys). =) This place is more than just a place to dance, it's a community center for people to hang out.

The classes are great, the staff is wonderful. Great place for anyone that is trying to learn some dance moves. Great classes for adults and for kids. Also great place to just come chill at

Classes: First class: free! Drop-in $12. 2-week unlimited: $40. Performances: $50/hr/dancer minimum 3 dancers
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have a staff of the best dancer in Colorado with decades of teaching, performance and battle experience.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure you check out classes with different teachers! Often times enjoyment is based less on genre or style and more on if you vibe with the instructor!
