Introduction
Craniosacral Therapy is a hands-on bodywork with gentle, sustained contact over the client’s clothing. Cranial work offers a way of being held that encourages feelings of safety and comfort so that stress becomes more manageable. As these feelings grow and become more integrated, we can meet ourselves with more awareness and patience. This helps the body to regulate sleep, digestion, and muscular tension, as well as psychological and emotional wellbeing.

Eben was a calming presence from the moment I stepped into the room. His energy was great and the session was so relaxing, it put me to sleep a few short times :) will definitely be going to him again.

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Clients can expect a brief intake where I listen to what they are wanting support with, and a brief health history. Then clients will lay face up fully clothed on a massage table, while I lay my hands very gently on their body and listen to the cues of internal strain and respond by making micro-adjustments to leverage the clients own capacity to heal.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I completed a two-year course with Body Intelligence. I was given a professional diploma which is internationally recognized and allows me to be a registered Craniosacral Therapist (RCST®) with The Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy Association of North America. I have completed a 10-month course in peer counseling, studied meditation India for two months and most recently I completed a seven day Qi Gong retreat.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I was feeling anxious and discouraged, I knew I needed help and a friend suggested that I might like craniosacral therapy. She was right my first session blew me away, It was in a way a quiet experience but in another, I felt like I was lit up like a Christmas tree inside. It was such a phenomenal experience and I walked away from the table thinking, I found my thing, this is my calling, this is what I want to bring to the world.
