- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing varies per job, depending on the scope of the project. If a job is looking like it's going to have a budget of +$15,000, I will generally speak with the customer about a flat rate fee based on the final budget. If the job is less than $15,000, my rate is $100/hour.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, I speak with the customer over the phone or facetime/zoom, so I can get a feel for the scope of the project. I'll then either send the client some inspiration photos, or ask them to send me their collection of inspo photos. I'll then set up an in-person consultation. Depending on their location, I may ask for a deposit before this step. Once we're in person (I can do this with or without the client present), I'll take several photos, videos and measurements of their space, if needed. Once the client is ready, I'll collect a deposit and from there, I'll begin my process of design.
