Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I listen to my clients and pay attention to the details and keep their files organized and focused is my starting point. Most people that come in do not know that I have other skills like playing playing guitar and composing/arranging music. I love working with people and helping with my skills that I have learned over the past 20 plus years in music productions-I begin sometimes with a piece puzzle. The client and I would create more pieces together and slowly put those pieces in the right places to create the picture that was in their mind. After doing this for many years, you learn the trade of what works faster, better and cleaner! The joy is the excitement in seeing in their eyes the true happiness of success!

I worked with Tony on several song projects. He served as engineer, co-producer, sound mixer, and sometimes musician. I highly recommend working with him. He's passionate about music, he follows your lead when that serves your project, and let's you know when he has a different suggestion you might not have thought of. His rates are very reasonable, especially considering all of his years of experience and all the projects he has worked on. I'm looking forward to working with him again and highly recommend giving him a try for your project.

I've worked with Tony on a number of different projects, ranging from audio mastering, live and studio recording, to musical performance, and have found him to be very professional, knowledgeable, and most importantly, fun to be around.

I worked with Tony Crank on my first solo album. I've also heard some of the other projects he has worked on. He is simply amazing. Really knows his stuff. The fact that he is also a accomplished musician made for excellent communications and an instant connection. Just a great guy. I highly recommend.

I have worked extensively with Tony on several projects over the years including musical and vocal recording, mastering and live sound. He is he ultimate professional and more importantly has the teaching skill set of knowing how ti bring out the best in every artist and project. We were able to work together on a recording which was nominated for a Native American Music Award for "Best Rock Single". Whether it is acoustic, electric or spoken word there is no genre that he is not familiar with which is another great asset.

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

I love working in the genre of hard rock and metal music. But I am more than capable in wide range of musical groups too, from Jazz, Blues, Soul, Funk, Indie, Folk, Rock, and country music. Also solo artist works that range in Beat Poets, Poets, Rap artists, VO, ADR and Radio ads. At times, projects comes in as contract works for Film, Movies, music for TV episodes and youtube hits like, "the duck song!" Other times, I work regularly at freelance works for corporations, education, city, state and even federal contracting works in audio.

  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

In January of 2013, I had the privilege of working with Jim Cohn. Jim and his musical crew(keyboardist and bass player) taught me about where voice(poems) and music can takes us into places where most music genres can't go. The vivid imagery and twist in music left me in aww! At times, I would focused on only two instruments like the voice and keyboard that fill the soundscape in my ear - to my amazement the sound was full! The addition to the bass guitar was a different realm but not typical and more harmonious!

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Don't settle for second best! Strive your work to be the best because you only have one chance at getting heard correctly. Think of this as project and making an investment. Demos or second best will only frustrate you from being at your best. Only being around professionals will you be recommended by other professionals in the business to take your work seriously. Please invest and create a budget, not a payment plan.
