I have been involved in the DJ community for 18 years and started DJing 9 years ago. It was sparked from the roots of DJing and Dance and developed a passion and love for Bboying. And then became further more a passion for music inspiring others, entertaining and bringing the same joy and fun I experienced to those who I perform for. I am a roots DJ in Turntablism I do have some skills in scratching, beat juggling and blending. My equipment; I have a New 2022 HP Laptop with Serato with a New DJ Controller through a Behringer X1204 mixer also to a Newmark PT01 Scratch unit. The speakers are 2 PA Mackie Thump 15s 1k Watts each. 1 Sound Town 15" Subwoofer 2K Watts. DJ stand with black cloth, Lighting, Lasers, A Wireless & Corded Quality Mic System and have a Fog machine for added laser and light effect. I offer 100% Satisfaction or you pay half price. Very professional can fit any style of gig you are wanting to do! I specialize in Weddings and have a very organized Time Template sheet to make it a breeze for you and lessen the work involved. I am at your service ready to rock a hella dope party or a classy upscale event!

DJ AfterBurner was awesome! He did an event for my Martial Arts school and killed it. He did an amazing job with the music, and keeping it pumped while also being kid friendly. I wish I could select all 5: work quality, professional, responsive, value and punctual! My partner and I are absolutely grateful we chose Tim for our sons birthday party, provided the quality of music we requested and more!! Not only was he fantastic for the event but he was funky on the dance floor and brought joy to our guests. Definitely would hire again and again for future events/parties! I cannot say enough about how fantastic our experience was with DJ Afterburner! He ROCKED my daughter's 17th birthday party! Immediate in all his responses, Tim responded to my request quickly, honored a date change, and prepared an incredible playlist well in advance of our party. He was able to seamlessly honor requests and added in a few of his own great surprises!

Afterburner was awesome DJing our halloween party. Stayed in great touch leading up to the party, showed on time and rocked it all night. Super sick setup and sound quality. Great guy and a lot of fun. We'll definitely have him back for the next party.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try to be as Fair as I can and will beat any price in a competitive nature. Given the distance to travel to bring equipment I prefer some compensation per the mile. And extra work as needing specific music and special performances. Upgradable Equipment options as Adding a Subwoofer for better sound quality. A fog machine which does use special liquid that does have its expense. Mic and MC service is an added organization depending on the event I try my best to gauge a fair price for all I work for!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Always reach out with a phone call I enjoy working through details that way and feel it's much more personable, direct, understandable and social way of customer relations.
I Have a Mic for Performances and singing or rapping.
I DO NOT DO KARAOKE Full Nights or Impromptu.
KARAOKE Is Extra and Requires Special Song versions and different equipment.
I CAN Do limited Karaoke a max of 5 Songs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been trained by not only oldschool Turntablist DJs, also Newage High Tech equipment of the Digital age, and while also having experience in more formal setups of AV displays.
