Now I still do- lol, but I can participate in almost any class with 2 herniated discs. I am passionate about helping others- genuinely care. Tai Chi is an advanced level of martial arts, and it must be taught the proper way. The instructor Marek has had formal training in this area and is very patient. Before class a topic is discussed briefly that helps both mind and body and the class ends in meditation. I highly recommend Eclectic Ground

I was a total novice to T'ai Chi Chih. Deanna normalized my awkwardness; encouraged my efforts; and offered guidance when needed. She is a patient, knowledgeable practitioner who conveys her passion and experience to others. In class, she was always flexible: if we needed/wanted more practice on one movement, she modified the class accordingly. Tai chi is a gentle mind-body exercise that helps its practitioners to improve balance, relieve stress, improve flexibility, and help with activities of daily living. I teach tai chi for arthritis and tai chi for energy as well as yang style tai chi for those who want a little more exercise. I also practice and teach qigong (standing meditation) and pushing hands, a sensitivity exercise that relates to tai chi. I work with all ages and ability levels.
