I have 3 finished products from Sterling and they are beautiful. All 3 are refinishing pieces of furniture and it gave me the facelift in my home that was so greatly needed. I plan to rehire Sterling so his great work is spread through out my home. His customer service and reliability is outstanding. You'll see once you hire him..
He is very good at what he does. He sent me photos of the work in progress. Seems to love antique furniture. Perfectionist.
Carol did a fantastic job. We had very expensive furniture that didn't work with our new furniture or our apartment. Carol came change the color with such expertise it looks like it was made for the room. She was fast and fair.
They recovered two club chairs, done in white leather. They were so easy to contact, she emails/texts/calls. They have widely available hours for pick up, drop off..as they do have their business in their home, which I found very convenient. They also have delivery which is nice. They are a family owned business, very congenial, honest and kind...with extreme skill! They did an excellent job, I even had a friend that has had many pieces refurnished, and he was very impressed and plans to use them on his next project. I will definitely return to AIR for my future projects as well...it was a fun, easy experience and the end result was beyond my expectations! Thank you, Pam!
Dan from "Perfect Surface" did a wonderful job refinishing my antique table. The table was pretty beat up but looks like new now! He even finished it ahead of schedule. I will definitely use him again.
Greg did a fantastic job refinishing 2 large pieces of dining room furniture for us. He was punctual, professional, and very nice to work with. I'd recommend him to anyone.
We selected H&M Designs for high-end (high quality wood and fine woodworking) custom cabinetry that I would paint/decorative paint. I am a decorative finisher and know the value/quality of competing cabinetry makers. Heather connected with me right away, and fit my need for some design assistance, and the follow up with cad drawings for our review and approval. She was extremely diligent in all steps of the process. We were very clear that quality materials and workmanship were the most critical factors, combined with elegant design. The pricing came in and was very fair for our expectations. Marvin, the cabinet maker, then came out to measure and really analyze the spaces. He delivered the cabinets (2 formal dining room china cabinets with uppers, lowers and inside rollout drawers) within a month. WOW! I am extremely particular, and his work is stunning. He spent a couple of days doing the installation, including applying perfectly-proportioned crown moulding, and although some of our walls are not square, he took this all into consideration upfront, and there is very little caulking around the cabinets to be done. He built the cabinetry to be painted in maple, and the other cabinets are beautiful cherry and will be stained. We are thoroughly pleased. If you are looking for top-notch quality with reasonable pricing (definitely not the most expensive bid) for this type of product, you will be extremely pleased with H&M. I would highly recommend them.
I needed to have the back of a couch and top of a nightstand repaired due to scratches from moving. Dave was responsive, professional, and fast. I'll call him again for any future needs regarding wooden furniture repair.
We hired Luke (Denver Benchworks) to build the cabinets and workspaces for the archives at the Clyfford Still Museum. The quality of work and the end result is on par with the beauty and design of our museum. Luke is a true craftsmen.
Denver Woodworks built walnut custom cabinets and bar for our kitchen renovation. Adam was easy to work with and gave us great ideas for maximizing space. He built in corner drawers that give us greater storage than a typical round turn style. His work is outstanding. He was on time, worked within our budget and came back many months after completing the job to make adjustments on any cabinet that didn't hang just perfectly. I highly recommend him and am using Denver Woodworks on a condo remodel. He is a real woodworking artist with innovative ideas.
Krista took an existing pine table that we delivered to her home workshop with a natural finish and put a jacobean stain on the top and made the turned legs distressed black for us. Very satisfied with the time it took to perform the work and the fulfillment of our expectations on the appearance of it. Krista was pleasant to deal with and answered all my wife's questions in the process of taking the order and delivering the finished product. Tom & Diane Bailey
Frank did a superb job of restoring my grandmother's dresser and making it solid and functional once again. It hasn't looked this good in many years. ---Deeann Jayson
Rene is amazing - short version. I have many antique pieces from early 1900s that I received from my Gma when she died. They were banged up by the time I got them and had scrapes, severe damage, missing handles and broken drawers. I also got a piece from my mom her 1980s hope chest. As you can roughly see the pics before they were so bad they had their seals almost all gone and circles from drinking glasses and more. I tried to finish the hope chest but it went so sour that I finally started to cover the top with a table cloth. I loved these pieces but was about to donate or throw them away but rene saved them. its took about a month for all. There was a lot of damage to the rose dresser seal was gone wheel broken and drawers were all broke, and the long dresser was missing handles and severely damaged out the outside. On top of this the hope chest never unlocked - lane products.... Not only did she fix every single one of them but she finished them the way I always dreamed of having my furniture - 2 tone white and brown. So Joanna gaines I know but I love them. They turned out wonderful and she held my hand every step of the way taking pictures keeping me updated and even sent up to date pics on them. She aways asked me what I wanted to do before doing something. She was very professional and even bubble wrapped my pieces! I am in love with these. She gave me many options in finishes from distressed to 1 tone and more but we did what I wanted very much! I highly recommend Rene. She is a top notch professional and saved me thousands of dollars! Instead of buying new furniture I have new like in the pieces I have and I adore them now. My mom and friends have seen them and will be contacting Rene after Xmas to have their stuff done as I also will too!
Her services were very courteous, professional and prompt. Reasonable rates. I felt very comfortable having her repair my furniture in my home. She took her time and educated me about caring for many of my wood furniture pieces also. Will have her back for more projects! Highly recommend to anyone needing furniture repair.
