Both spaces desperately needed upgrades, and after researching local contractors and gathering several bids, A2Z Builders stood out with a reasonable estimate that fit my budget. I chose them because I wanted Architectural Digest–level design and craftsmanship — and they delivered. The basement stairs were in rough shape: worn carpet, damaged treads, scratched baseboards, cracked drywall, and poor lighting. I asked for something artistic to replace the eyesore, and they created a beautiful, striking transformation. For the master bathroom, I wanted heated tile floors instead of carpet, a refinished vanity, wallpaper removal, and repairs to water damaged drywall. The results are stunning. Every visitor who sees the remodeled bathroom and stairs responds with an enthusiastic WOW. The entire team was courteous, professional, and genuinely invested in bringing my vision to life. After reviewing the scope of work and discussing expectations, Dan quickly coordinated a team to frame and pour the new concrete patio—much faster than we anticipated. We requested a few minor cosmetic changes after the framing had begun. Dan and his team were accommodating and, after a brief discussion to confirm feasibility, made the adjustments. The result turned out extremely well. After a five-day curing period, Dan’s team returned to remove the tarp and framing and put the final touches on the patio. The final step was a comprehensive site clean-up, which included removing a small tree that had been cleared during the project, along with any other debris. They left the site looking better than they found it. Gator wasn’t the cheapest quote I received, but their thorough preparation, attention to detail during curing, and post-project clean-up made the higher cost well worth it.
