Shaman Maria has worked with many indigenous medicine people throughout the U.S. and South America in an effort to make a difference in the world. She is a sacred pipe carrier in the Lakota tradition and was initiated in the tradition of mystical shamanism in Peru and the Amazonian medicine of the rainforest.
She carries the medicine of the Kondor of the South and the Eagle of the North. She trained in the Amazonian rainforest in jungle medicine and works with the sacred mesa of the Qero. Maria encountered The Star Elders in 1994; she trained with them for seven years before venturing out into the world. She was initiated into the service to Pachamama-Mother Earth by the Star Elders who are the decision makers for the future of the earth.
During the same time, she had countless meetings with various goddess personages who trained her to bring forth their messages and provide teachings about the feminine and masculine roles in our evolving world.
