The boiler for the furnace in our home wouldn't stay lit when I turned it on a couple of weeks ago. I went on line, contacted Thumbtack, and two companies contacted me within a few minutes. I called both of them wanting to make sure they worked on boiler systems. Tom from 303 Heating and Air was able to come over to the house that evening and take a look at the system. That visit convinced me that he is the person I'd want to do the work. He wrote a bid that I agreed to and 4 days later installed a new boiler. The price was fair. Tom communicated with me well all along the way. He was very clean doing the work and left the space much neater than he found it. I ended up feel very good about the work he did for me and would recommend him to anyone who has a boiler in their home that needs work. The bonus was that Tom is very personable as well as professional and I enjoyed working with him.

I can't say enough about the positive experience I had working with Michael. He was quick to respond, came out to diagnose/evaluate immediately, and his repair cost was pennies on the dollar compared to the other quotes that wanted to sell me a brand new unit for $3000-6000. Oh...on top of that, Michael gave me a 2 year warranty on all parts and labor!! I will definitely recommend him to my friends and family in the future.

Alex did a great job, was eager to show me how to operate and maintain the unit and even preformed some simple diagnosis tests on items that weren't apart of our "service call" agreement. His business card is now at the top of my Rolodex for any follow-up calls concerning the boiler, sump pump and or radiant heat units. Thanks again!

The flame sensor was malfunctioning on my furnace on a SUNDAY. David sent a couple of guys out and they were able replace the sensor and the filter for less than my friend (who is a general contractor) told me it would be. No weekend rates or hidden fees. David personally brought the replacement filter and discussed future maintenance the furnace would need. He was very nice and honest and my furnace has been working like a dream ever since! We will definitely be using Dr. HVac in the future and would recommend their services to anyone!!! Thanks David for great service!!!

Had Top Dawg out for a new central air install on a 1957 home. They were extremely professional on the walkthrough for the quote, didn’t pester us as we were contemplating the contract for a week or two, and respected our space and our belongings during the install. The work was done well, they threw in an eval and cleaning of our furnace to ensure integrity of the AC, and the job was done fast. I would trust these guys to do more work for us in the future if needed. Price was right, highly recommended!

Kevin was on time and quick to diagnose my boiler problem. I am the type that wants to be knowledgeable when I have people working on my house. He was willing to answer my many questions as he worked on the boiler. I will call these guys again next time we have an issue with our boiler.

Oscar, who was the tech that did the service call, was knowledgeable and polite said it might be a part that was going bad and said he could not do anything at the time because it had to be winter to check the proper operation of the furnace as it was the middle of summer but said that if I did need a repair that my $59 service I paid at this time would be applied to the repair.

Trent is a straight shooter motivated by integrity. I had requested drywall repair for a 1.5' x 1.5' hole in the wall. When he gave me his estimate he thought it was for a 1.5"x1.5" hole. The job took a little over two hours instead of the quoted one, but Trent refused to let me pay him for the extra time or the materials he had to purchase because of the larger hole. He was extremely professional asking permission to use my sinks and let me know that his saw was going to be loud. He also cleaned up after himself and the work is top notch. I will look to hire Trent again for my future projects.

Working with Greg was great! He responded to my request in a timely matter as well as scheduled a time to review the job. He ended up knocking out my original request and taking care of a few other plumbing issues I had. I appreciated that he took the time to explain the options and that he listened to my concerns.

After another Plummer quoted me more than double and discussed a job that included possibly ripping out flooring and drywall, this Plummer did the simple repair that I was expecting for a very reasonable price. He checked everything before he left and even left a moisture monitor under the repair that would alarm if water touched it. Very happy with the work and the price.

I hired HVAC Plus to replace my hot water heating system (boiler). I met with Rich (Owner) initially and he thoroughly explained what was wrong with my boiler and presented me with my options and pricing. While they were not the cheapest pricewise, I found Rich to be very trustworthy and I elected to replace the entire system. The installers were very professional and kept the everything clean and dry. They were able to complete the installation sooner than planned. At completion of the job, Rich, explained in detail how to operate my new system and explained the entire zoning operation. I found Rich and his crew to be very polite, professional, and I would HIGHLY recommend HVAC Plus to anyone. Thank you, thank you and thank you....HVAC Plus !!!

We needed central air conditioning for our new home in Castle Rock and we interviewed several HVAC companies before making a decision. We received quotes from: Southwest Heating & Cooling, All Seasons Mechanical, Mr. Cool Heating & Cooling, Parker Heating and Air, and Blue Flame Heating & Air Conditioning. Out of the five businesses, we decided to hire Justin from Blue Flame for the following reasons: 1) Justin was extremely responsive to both phone and e-mail. (I actually found BlueFlame through Thumbtack, and Justin replied almost immediately after I posted the job early on a Sunday morning). 2) Justin had excellent communication, and always called in advance to let us know that he was on his way. 2) Justin did not try to upsell us on equipment that we did not need. 3) The quote that Blue Flame provided was very competitive compared to competitors. 4) Justin actually took the time to come back and perform a free heat load calculation on our house before we even hired him. Only one other vendor did this and they were not nearly as thorough as Justin was. 5) Blue Flame was the only Rheem dealer, and his competitors could not say anything bad about the Rheem brand of air conditioners. By contrast, Trane dealers claimed that Goodwin was unreliable, and Goodwin dealers claimed that Trane was both over-priced and had poor compressor motors. I don't know if either of those claims can be substantiated, but my online research indicated that Rheem units were very reliable. 6) The estimate, heat load calculation, and work order from Blue Flame were all provided electronically, and contained thorough documentation of the work that was performed. Justin used an iPad to document his work as he went and quickly published the results online. Although Justin is licensed in Douglas County, he was not licensed in Castle Rock. Normally this would be a deal breaker, but given the reasons we decided to hire Justin over his competitors, we decided to just pull the permit ourselves as homeowners. (Note: In Castle Rock, this is done entirely online, costs $50, and is issued in under 24 hours). I and am happy to report that Blue Flame passed the town's inspection and that all work was completed according to code. I did use Sun Dog Electric for the electrical work, so I cannot comment on the quality of the electricians that Blue Flame normally employs, but I am sure they would also do fine. We had Justin install a central humidifier for us as well, which his competitors were not even sure would be possible given the small space in our utility closet (see pictures on Yelp). Justin was able to fit an advanced Honeywell unit into the system just fine. Although I won't know how well it will work until this winter, I am confident that we will be very happy with it. Justin took the time to explain how the new air conditioning system works, as well as the humidifier, and the required maintenance for both units. He demonstrated their operation, and provided both manuals to us. In addition, Justin recommended an annual system check, which he can perform for only $49. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the quality of installation and service that was provided by Justin from Blue Flame. If you are currently in the market for a new A/C system or furnace, need repairs, or just maintenance performed, you can stop researching and just call Blue Flame. They're competitively priced, have good products, and provide excellent customer service. What more can you ask for?

Mike worked on a complete bathroom remodel for us and did a fantastic job! I was surprised that he finished ahead of schedule and even helped us find some nice-looking and less expensive fixtures than what we had originally chosen. I'll be calling Vision again the next time I need a remodeling job done.
