FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing varies depending on what you're looking for. If you want a private dinner party or full-service catering, pricing ranges from $25-80 per person and up. If you're looking for a pick-up or drop-off in disposable pans with no service, prices range from $15-35 per person and a $50 delivery fee in Denver Metro area. If you just want appetizers or hors d'ouvres for a cocktail party, prices are $2.50-$4.50 per piece, with a recommended 3-5 pieces per person. Extra fees would apply for service and cleanup if you need me to stay for the length of the event. I can also do meal or party prep in your home for $30 per hour plus the cost of groceries. Larger catering events (such as weddings) are on a case-by-case basis as the menu and level of service can vary greatly.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to have a phone meeting or exchange emails and get a feel for what it is that you're looking for. Whether it's a small private dinner party, an interactive action station buffet, or a plated 3-course meal for 200, I want to make sure that I beat all of your expectations. Questions will include all of the who/what/when/where/budget, but also about your and your guests' preferences and dietary restrictions, what the event is for, and what level of service you need.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended culinary school from '05-'07 and have worked in a variety of settings that have given me a very wide repertoire of skills and styles. I am also ServSafe certified, and a member of the American Culinary Federation. I make it a point to attend continuing education seminars, classes, and programs on a regular basis in order to keep up with trends and modern techniques.
