After talking with him about our location which was a little unique, we was excited about the idea and being able to photograph our memories. I was very comfortable with the decision even without meeting him in person. He was very friendly and professional. After speaking to a number of photographers we connected with Mike. He quickly understood their vision and spent time walking us through things. On the wedding day he did not disappoint. Our venue was “out of season” and a thunderstorm was eminent. Mike somehow captured every moment, making the background compliment the beautiful couple. He was great with directions for the nervous couple and had a keen eye for all elements in the photo. The pictures are stunning and truly captured their personalities. I wasn't really looking forward to the awkwardness that comes with having a couples photo shoot but Mandi did such an amazing job at making me and my fiance feel comfortable during our shoot! Our pictures turned out looking so great. We couldn't have been more happier with the end result. Mandi is VERY talented and has a VERY good eye. I hired Santana Photography for my daughter's 9th birthday (pictures are very important to me and it's hard to manage a party for kids and take pictures). Santana was very responsive and helpful after I reached out about the event. Because our lives are chaotic, I got our party's beginning time wrong and Santana was flexible and changed his plans. He was kind and professional, and did a great job of rolling with the chaos of the party. (We had a bouncy house in the backyard. A large rainstorm rolled in - he got a couple great pictures of that, and then kids taking over our basement.) We love the images, he's a great photographer, and we appreciate his flexibility. I highly recommend him. He can roll with the chaos of a large event and I'm sure he takes great portraits as well. It can be hard finding great photographers on Thumbtack, but Santana is definitely one of them. Thank you for your help, Santana!

For us, the entire wedding process was a mess! We were supposed to get married in Aruba and everything was planned by a wedding planner. Due to some unexpected issues, we had to cancel that and plan a new one within a month. His website and profile was great, so he was an easy choice. I only hired him for 3 hours because my dad is a photographer as well and planned to do a lot of picture taking. Bryan showed up early, which was great because the weather had gone from bad to worse and my dad was busy with setting things up. I was super unorganized and was running late myself. He took it upon himself to take pictures of my dress, our rings, as well as me getting ready. I had a hanger made with my new last name, and tried to erase the date, but hadn't had a chance to put the new date. When I saw the pictures, I noticed he had added the date himself and it looked perfect. With the weather, we weren't able to take pictures outside as I had hoped, so it was super chaotic taking couple/family pictures. With tables being moved, people wandering off, and people interrupting to talk to us, he was extremely patient. He definitely knows his weddings and even showed us how to cut the cake, and saved the top of the cake for us! He obliged my crazy family who kept asking for "one more!" because everyone kept looking away. The wedding was on a Saturday, and he sent us the link to the pictures the next Monday. The only regret I have is that I didn't hire him for more time. But I was amazed at all of the important parts that he made sure to get in! I definitely made the right choice with Bryan!
