FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most commonly I'll have a student pick a song they really enjoy, I'll then go find the sheet music/tabs for it and give them to the student to keep. At lessons we'll start dissecting the song starting with key and time signatures, to chord progressions then any riffs or melodies that need to be played. I turn the song the student enjoys into a complete lesson about music theory so they understand how the song works, along with how to play it.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure the teacher you hire is right for you. There are great folk guitar teachers out there that can teach you the basics of guitar, but if you love metal and want to learn to play it, switching teachers could be the right choice.
